Poppy's Kiss

This elixir has two uses — rendering a target unconscious and keeping him that way. When inhaled, it has a powerful soporific effect. In combat, it can be applied to a cloth and then held over the mouth and nose of a potential victim. The attacker must successfully grapple with his target. In future rounds, he may use the cloth on any successful grapple check. If the victim fails a Fortitude save (DC 17) she takes 3d6 points of nonlethal damage, which may cause her to become staggered or to fall unconscious. This damage is not affected by the attacker’s Strength. Once applied to cloth, the drug holds its potency for one minute. If the drug is used on an unconscious character, she will fall into a comatose slumber; this effect is identical to sleep of the unjust, and has a duration of 8 hours.
