Psychic is a damage type.
- Psychic damage is inflicted by psionic powers, unspeakable horrors, harmful illusions, and other assaults on the mind. It can impart headaches, confusion, or loss of cognitive function.
- Often psychic damage must be defended with Will.
- Sources of psychic damage often can render a creature Charmed, Frightened, distracted, or otherwise confused.
- Creatures with strong willpower or determined minds may have resistance to psychic damage and associated conditions.
- All objects are immune to psychic damage, as are many creatures that don't have minds—such as constructs.
