Cold is a damage type.
- Freezing, icy water, blizzards, and frigid temperatures cause cold damage.
- If something is damaged just by being Soaked, such as paper or flames, it's cold damage.
- Sources of cold damage may cause a creature to become Slowed, or unable to take reactions.
- Cold damage may sometimes cause terrain to become slippery ice, or fragile ice.
- Sometimes cold damage will deal max damage to a creature that's Soaked.
- Creatures acclimated to extreme cold often have resistance to cold damage.
- Flaming creatures or those who rely on internal heat are often vulnerable to cold damage.
