Hyrule (Hyrule Supplement)/Eldin Province
From D&D Wiki
Geographically the largest province of Hyrule, Eldin dominates the northeastern quadrant of the continent. It is overlooked by the fearsome volcano known as Death Mountain; it and the surrounding mountains are constantly aflow with lava, and so superheated that creatures not adapted to this extreme heat have a difficult time handling it. Much of the province features a dry, warm climate despite being so far north. Eldin is the home of most Hyrulean gorons and mogma.
Death Mountain Range[edit]
The Death Mountain Range is a region of Hyrule, a vast mountainous area in the far north. A belt of volcanic mountains rich in metals, minerals and Rupee Ore, countless wars have been fought for dominion over these bountiful lands.
Eastern Ruins[edit]
Goron City[edit]
This city is near a large, constantly active volcano, and is almost exclusively populated by gorons, thanks to the heat from the volcano that few other races (such as subrosians) can support without the help of a goron tunic, which protects its wearer from fire and extreme heat. It is, however, a great source of ores, and many gorons travel to other towns in Eldin to exchange these ores for rupees or something else.
Lost Hills[edit]
Mogma Ridge[edit]
Mount Crenel[edit]
Mountain Town of Darunia[edit]
Situated near the center of Eldin and the base of Death Mountain Range, this peaceful and modest town is a mix of hylians, gorons, and mogma. It helps to serve as a trading post and halfway point between the inhospitable but populous Goron City and the rest of Hyrule. Like many Hyrulean towns, it is named after an ancient sage, believed by some to be among the original Seven Sages.
Parapa Desert[edit]
Town of Rauru[edit]
