Acid is a damage type.

Caused by corrosive substances, rusting effects, burning pits of acid, and other harmful chemical reactions. Many oozes and some reptiles resist acid damage.
Sources of acid damage may render a creature Exposed, or damage items worn or wielded by the creature.
Constructs made of iron or certain other minerals are sometimes vulnerable to the corrosive nature of acid damage.
