Acid is a damage type.
- Caused by corrosive substances, rusting effects, burning pits of acid, and other harmful chemical reactions. Many oozes and some reptiles resist acid damage.
- Sources of acid damage may render a creature Exposed, or damage items worn or wielded by the creature.
- Constructs made of iron or certain other minerals are sometimes vulnerable to the corrosive nature of acid damage.
