Magic[edit]
Magic in Keran is a powerful thing. Not many realise how it even works. Some think that magic is an element, while others say it is the will of the gods manifested. Then some think that it is a force which fills all beings, which with training and practice. In a way all of that is true, but in reality magic is much more. It is the energy emmited by the Monolith.
New Spells[edit]
The world has some magic unique to it. Many of these spells are named after the mage who created it. The following spells are unique to the world of Keran.

Spell Changes[edit]
Some spells work differently in the world of Keran. Here is a list of spells which are changed in Blades of Keran:
Animate Dead: Doesn't have the evil descriptor.
Calm Animals: Also effects vermin.
Charm Animal: Also effects vermin.
Cure Wounds Spells: Doesn't effect Elementals, Fey, Outsiders, or Plants as they don't use Positive Energy for animation or deanimation. Some elementals and fey have special rules for what happens to then if you use positive energy on them. They are also necromancy spells not conjuration.
Deathwatch: Doesn't have the evil descriptor.
Detect Animals & Plants: Also detects Vermin.
Dominate Animals: Also effects Vermin.
Elemental Swarm: Can also be used to summon Positive, Negative, and wood Elementals.
Hide from animals: Also effects vermin.
Hold Animal: Also effects vermin.
Illusory Wall: Doesn't exist.
Inflict Wounds Spells: Doesn't effect Elementals, Fey, Outsiders, or Plants as they don't use Negative Energy for animation or deanimation. Some elementals and fey have special rules for what happens to then if you use negative energy on them.
Maze: Minotaurs aren't immune to Maze.
Permanency: Has being updated. Here is the new Permanency.
Reduce Animal: Also effects vermin.
Reincarnation: Has being updated. Here is the new Reincarnation
Speak With Animals: Also effects vermin.
This list so far only has spells contained in SRD.
