Features of the fruits need action type(reaction, attack action, etc.). Also all fruits will need to move to their own pages when everything is hammered out.

Devil Fruits[edit]

Design Note: This is only to be used in a One Piece setting, or a setting based around One Piece or Devil Fruits.

Basics[edit]

Devil Fruits are rare, powerful fruits that give the eater features based on what fruit it is. New features are granted based on your total level across all classes. If your total number of levels is reduced below a threshold, then you lose the ability use the features granted by these fruit until your total levels once again reach the required threshold.

Discovering[edit]

These fruits are found across the world, in shops and in trees.

Consuming[edit]

In order to first gain the features you must consume the fruit. For example: This must be done in one sitting, and in under 1 hour or the fruit will not do anything. You must also pass a DC 15 Constitution check.

Sunk Cost[edit]

Anyone under the effects of a devil fruit may not swim unless specifically pointed out by the fruits' description. This is manifested in a net negative buoyancy, and a swim speed of 0 feet. This means that while in water you will slowly start to sink. If a creature attempts to pull you from the water they must pass a DC 15 Athletics check. Any creature doing so also has their swim speed halved while pulling you. If several creatures attempt to pull you they make an athletics check at advantage gaining a +1 for each member pulling you.

Negating Fruit Features[edit]

A special metal called seastone is required to negate any effects of a devil fruit user. simply just touching seastone turns a devil fruit user into a paralyzed mess. Seastone is an alloy made from having cold iron forged at the lowest depths of the ocean allowing the sea waters pressure to metaphorically sink into the cold iron. the only other way to negate or stop a devil fruit users abilities is to always keep some seawater on you not any water will it has to be from the sea, river water nor lake water will work only water from the sea and you must refresh the water every 3 days or it will lose its connectio to the deep.

Fruit Types[edit]

There are three types of Devil Fruit: Paramecia, Logia and Zoan.

Paramecia fruits are the weakest; they do not grant any extra bonuses, other than their fruit powers. Logia fruits, as well as their fruit powers, also grant immunity to non-magical piercing, slashing and bludgeoning damage, as well as immunity to the type of damage the fruit inflicts (e.g. fire, cold, poison). Finally, Zoan fruits grant the power to turn into another creature, which, while in that form, grants a huge buff to all their fruit powers.

Gravity Fruit[edit]

The Gravity fruit is a Paramecia fruit, granting the user power over Gravity.

  • At level 1, you unlock the ability to levitate an object. This object must fit inside a 5ft cube. If the levitated object is thrown at someone, it does 1d8 bludgeoning damage. You can also teleport to anywhere within 20ft of you, as a bonus action
  • At level 5, you can pull a chunk out of the ground, or a wall, and fly on it. While on it, it gets a flying speed of 30ft. Also, if you hit someone while flying, they take 1d6 bludgeoning damage.
  • At level 8, you can change the gravitational pull on someone. You can either inflict 1d10 bludgeoning damage, or increase their movement speed by 10ft. This ability can be used on yourself.
  • At level 15, you can influence gravity so much, your other skills get buffed. Your first power now does 1d10 damage, and you can levitate a 10ft cube. Your second power now grants you a flying speed of 45ft, and your third skill can now either inflict 1d12 + 1d6 damage, or increase movement speed by 25ft.

Flame Fruit[edit]

The Flame fruit is a Logia fruit, granting control over fire

  • At level 1, you gain the ability to make balls of fire. These have a range of 60ft, and deal 1d8 fire damage. You also gain immunity to fire damage.
  • At level 5, you can make a wall of fire. It is 5ft by 30ft in any direction, and anyone who walks through it, except you, takes 1d10 fire damage, and 1d4 damage each round afterwards until they are put out.
  • At level 8, you can create a fiery explosion. Pick any space within 30ft of you. Anyone but you inside a 5ft cube centered on the point you chose takes 1d10 fire damage, and 1d6 fire damage until they are put out. This damage bypasses resistance, but not immunity.
  • At level 15, you can awaken you fruit. This takes 3d6 days to do, in which you can do nothing other than eat, drink, rest and train your fruit. After this, you unlock a new set of powers. These are much better than these three.
  • 1st power; With your balls of fire, they now have a range of 120ft, and if it hits them, two more fireballs spark off them, hitting the nearest two enemies. These two auto hit. The big one does 1d12 fire damage, with them taking 1d6 fire damage every turn until put out. The mini ones are the same, but instead of 1d12, they deal 1d6 fire damage.
  • 2nd power; The wall of fire animates. You can use a bonus action to hit any enemy within 5ft of the wall. They take 1d12 fire damage, and are restrained for 2 turns.
  • 3rd power; The cube is now a 10ft cube, and you can pick any spot within 60ft of you.
  • Flight; You also gain a flying speed of 30ft. While flying, your lower half becomes a blazing inferno, which is completely harmless
  • Immunity When awakened, all your attacks bypass immunity as well as resistance

Phoenix Fruit[edit]

The Phoenix fruit is a Zoan fruit, allowing you to take the shape of a phoenix

  • At level 1, you can use an action to transform into a phoenix. Your hit points are doubled, and you gain immunity to fire damage.
  • Also at level 1, you gain the ability to strike people. You can use your claws to strike people. If it hits, they take 1d8 fire damage, and 1d4 radiant damage. You also get healed the amount of radiant damage done.
  • At level 5, you gain the ability to fly. You get a flying speed of 35ft, as blue-fire wings shoot out of your back.
  • At level 8, you can shoot blue fireballs. If it hits an enemy, they will take 1d8 fire damage, and 1d6 radiant damage. If it hits an ally, they will be healed 1d6 HP, and all negative conditions affecting then will be removed. All damage from this bypasses resistance, but not immunity.
  • At level 15, you can make a healing aura around yourself. A 5ft cube, centered on you, will be filled with blue flames. Anyone inside it, including you, will heal 1d12 + 1d8. Any enemies inside it, however, will also heal.
