This spell is simple but effective. Allows the user to absorb any type of creature, whether common animals or others (Monstrosity, demon, fairy, aberration, beast, constructs, dragons, elementals, undead, slimes and plants). These creatures can be absorbed, not necessarily one at a time, because using more than one spell slot allows the absorption of more than one creature. The creatures obey the user based on a minimal command, it does not require concentration. If the user reaches 0 life points, all creatures will be released and will protect them based on the player's commands. All absorbed creatures follow any order from the user, they live in a simulated universe within the user. Creatures can be absorbed as long as their body is present and dead creatures can be absorbed within 10 seconds until their death, leaving them with 1 life until the next long rest. The required check is constitution, which must be greater than the user's magical attack roll. This spell is similar to a natural ability, and the release of creatures upon reaching 0 hit points is a side effect of use. Regardless of location, they will be released close to the user. This is due to the compact dimension created in the caster, which becomes unstable. For the same reason, creatures with magical abilities or special attacks, such as spells and breath weapons, can use these abilities without being brought in, it is only necessary that an opening be made to the dimension.
The following rules are applied:
- Creatures with CR 1 or lower are absorbed without any limitation, more than one can be absorbed at a time without expending spell slots;
- Creatures whose CR is equivalent to player level -4 are absorbed using a second circle slot;
- Creatures whose CR is equivalent to player level -6 are absorbed using a first circle slot;
- Creatures whose CR is equivalent to player level +4 are absorbed using a fourth circle slot;
- Creatures whose CR is greater than player level +4 cannot be absorbed;
- Creatures whose CR is less than or equal to player level -4 are absorbed without any test, just by spending the necessary spell slot;
- For each level of difference between the player and the creature, the one with the higher level will have a +1 advantage;
- For each spell slot, above what is necessary for use, is used, the player will have a +2 advantage;
- Only 1 creature whose CR is greater than half the player's level can be used in combat at a time, the others are free to use.
Upon obtaining this spell, the user obtains a set of creatures of his choice from the following levels:
- 1 mystical creature with up to +2 CR compared to your player level that will evolve along with the caster
- 1 creature with CR up to 6
- 1 creatures with CR up to 5
- 3 creatures with CR up to 4
- 4 creatures with CR up to 1
- 6 creatures with CR less than 1
[Lower level creatures can be absorbed into higher level slots]
