Range: | 60 feet |
Components: | V |
You speak a word of fire that causes one creature you can see within range to spontancously ignite. If the target has 250 hit points or fewer, it immediately takes 8d6 fire damage and begins to burn. Otherwise, the spell has no effect.
While burning, the target sheds bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet, and it takes.
5d8 fire damage at the start of each of its turns. All damage dealt by this spell ignores resistance and immunity to fire damage. The target can make a Dexterity check against your spell save DC at the end of each of its turns. On a success, this burning effect ends.
Multiple Targets. When you cast these words using cursed energy, you can affect one additional creature for every 1 Cursed Point spent above the original cost. The creatures must be within 30 feet of each other when you target them.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this word using cursed energy of a 6th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 5th.
