You invoke the power of the Commandment of Altruism, creating a magical bond between you and up to 3 creatures of your choice within range. The creatures must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, they are affected by the spell. A creature affected by this spell that attempts to deal damage to another creature takes half of the damage it would inflict on the target, and the target only takes half of the intended damage.
While under the effect of Fraudrin's Altruistic Bond, a creature that attempts to deal damage to another creature, whether through physical attacks, spells, or abilities, takes half the damage it would deal to its target. The target also takes only half the intended damage. This effect reflects any attempt to inflict pain onto others back to the aggressor. Creatures that succeed on the Wisdom saving throw are not affected by the spell. Affected creatures can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns to try to end the effect.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the number of creatures you can affect increases by one for each level above 4th.
