Chakra. Boruto has 33 chakra points which he can expend. All chakra points are regained at the end of a long rest.

Evasion. When Boruto is targeted by an area effect that lets him make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, such as fireball, he instead takes no damage if he succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if he fails the save.

The eldest child of Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga and older brother of Himawari, Boruto Uzumaki was born with the immense talent his predecessors wielded, and unlike his father he lacked a demon fox to hold back his development. While he had no problems making friends, befriending the likes of Denki and Iwabee in a single day before even joining Shino's class in the Academy with them, he resented his frequently-absent father, often acting out in much the same way he had to try to steal his father's attention. Between dealing with Nue and Sumire, befriending the mysterious Mitsuki, whom he would later join with Sarada to form Team Konohamaru, and awakening a never-before-seen dojutsu, Boruto had his own fair share of adventures before he had even graduated, but nothing could've prepared him for what would occur during the Chunin Exams.

Training under Sasuke and taking Katasuke's offer to test out an experimental Shinobi Gauntlet in order to improve his chances of graduating while getting back at his father, he dominated the competition with almost raw skill alone. However, during the final round, he was pitted against Shinki in one-on-one combat. Being forced to use jutsu he had no way of knowing to win, Naruto saw through his lies, not only disqualifying him, but stripping him of his rank as genin. Before Boruto could fully protest, however, the venue was attacked by Momoshiki and Kinshiki, who were in search of Naruto's chakra. In awe of the first display of his father's full power he had ever seen, he was devastated by Naruto's loss. Ashamed of his attitude toward his father, now understanding the extent of everything he had gone through and continued to do for his village while looking at his jacket and Sasuke's headband from their youths, Sasuke appeared from the shadows, offering for Boruto to put them on. Joining forces with Sasuke and the other Four Kage, Boruto assisted in invading the Otsutsuki's dimension, mostly watching from the sidelines. Even after Momoshiki absorbed Kinshiki and overpowered the other Four Kage, Naruto and Sasuke's combined strength proved too much for even this form. While the rest of the Kage stood back, still cautious of such a powerful foe even while he died, Katasuke, who had only been brought along to research Momoshiki's abilities from afar, foolishly rushed in, using his shinobi gauntlet in an attempt to kill him once and for all. Absorbing the chakra from the attack, Momoshiki used a massive Shadow Possession jutsu to paralyze the Kage before approaching to kill them. With no other option, Sasuke ordered Boruto to use his Vanishing Rasengan, which he had watched Boruto master, breaking Momoshiki's concentration. Fueling all of his power into a Deep Crimson Spiral, Naruto likewise combined he and Boruto's power into a massive true Rasengan, overpowering the copied jutsu and finally killing the Otsutsuki. However, Momoshiki had other plans, implanting his Karma within Boruto's right palm.
