From D&D Wiki
Hinata Hyuga[edit]
Medium humanoid (Hyuga), lawful good Armor Class 19 (Natural Armor)
Saving Throws Dex +11, Wis +10 Chakra. Hinata has 46 chakra points which she can expend. All chakra points are regained at the end of a long rest. Outer Path Chakra. Hinata has 50 additional chakra points which she can expend, which can not be regained normally. While she has at least 1 Six Paths Chakra point and Sage Mode is active, she gains the following:
Evasion/Discernment. When Hinata is targeted by an area effect that lets her make a Dexterity, Wisdom, or Intelligence saving throw to take only half damage, such as fireball, she instead takes no damage if she succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if she fails the save. Ninja Speed. Hinata can take the dash, dodge, and disengage actions as a bonus action, and can move along vertical surfaces. Senjutsu Chakra. Some of Hinata's features grant her "senjutsu chakra". Hinata can spend senjutsu chakra as if it were normal chakra. A creature may have a number of senjutsu chakra points equal to a quarter of their chakra point maximum or Wisdom score, whichever is higher unless they have this feature, in which they may have a number equal to their chakra point maximum. If this limit is exceeded, they become petrified and identical to the Sage Creature of the source of the senjutsu until they lose the senjutsu (in this case, a Hamura). Nature Chakra Sense. Hinata may take the search action as a bonus action. When Hinata takes the search action, she may also attempt a DC 14 Arcana check to locate living creatures and magical effects within 30 feet. She see a faint outline around the detected chakra source and what school of magic or chakra nature the magical effect was created from, or one that the creature can use if any, can be discerned by her. This effect can penetrate most barriers, but is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt. ACTIONSMultiattack. Hinata can make 3 unarmed strike or kunai attacks. Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (5d4 + 4) magical bludgeoning damage. Kunai. Thrown Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, range 30/60 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d4 + 4) piercing damage. Hinata may spend up to 3 chakra when she takes this action, making one additional attack per chakra point spent. Each additional kunai deals 3 (1d4 + 1) piercing damage on a hit. Transformation (1+ Chakra). Hinata becomes identical to a person, creature or non-magical object she a complete visual image of. This can not be a light source, armor, tool, or vehicle and, and she can not recreate a magical effect. Creatures must make a DC 19 Investigation check realize that she is transformed. If the creature saw her performing the Jutsu, they automatically succeed. This does not change statistics, save for granting the creature's swimming and flying speeds. Body Flicker (3 Chakra). Hinata's movement speed doubles and her movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity until the end of her turn. Basic Ninjutsu Technique (1 Chakra). As a bonus action, Hinata can move across liquid surfaces as if they were solid. If she is submerged, she rises to the surface of the liquid at a rate of 60 feet per round. Leaf Great Flash (5 Chakra). Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: the target is moved 30 feet in any direction. Palm Bottom (1+ Chakra). Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: the target is stunned until the end of their next turn. For every additional chakra point spent, the target takes an additional 2 force damage. Water Needle (3 Chakra). Ranged Spell Attack: +12 to hit, range 30 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (5d4 + 5) piercing damage. This deals twice as much damage to swarms. This can only be used while Byakugan is active. Focused Byakugan (2 Chakra). While Byakugan is active, Hinata's chakra sense range is doubled and starts being blocked by twice as much material until the end of her next turn. Rotation (3 Chakra). While Byakugan is active, any creatures in a 10 ft. radius must make a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be pushed back 10 ft. and knocked prone. If a creature enters this range after the initial use, they must succeed a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw or take 9 (1d8 + 5) force damage. Ranged attacks that must pass within the sphere have disadvantage, and Hinata gains resistance to nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. This lasts until the beginning of Hinata's next turn. Heavy Palm (1 Chakra). As a bonus action after hitting with an unarmed attack while Byakugan is active, the target must succeed a DC 20 Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the end of her next turn. Air Palm (4-7 Chakra). Ranged Spell Attack: +12 to hit, range 60 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (2d12 + 5) thunder damage. Whether or not it hits, the targeted creature must make a DC 20 Strength saving throw. On a failure, it is pushed back 10 feet. As a bonus action for 3 additional chakra, Hinata may make an unarmed strike with advantage. Eight Trigrams Sixteen Palms (8 Chakra). While Byakugan is active, one creature within 5 ft. must make a DC 20 Strength saving throw. On a failure, they take 24 (4d8 + 5) force damage and are stunned until the end of Hinata's next turn. On a success, they take half as much damage and are not stunned. Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms (16 Chakra). While Byakugan is active, one creature within 5 ft. must make a DC 20 Strength saving throw. On a failure, they take 44 (8d8 + 5) force damage, and they are poisoned and slowed for 1 minute. On a success, they take half as much damage and gain the conditions until the end of their next turn. The target may retry this saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending this effect early on a success. Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms (32 Chakra). While Byakugan is active, one creature within 5 ft. must make a DC 20 Strength saving throw. On a failure, they take 77 (16d8 + 5) force damage, and they are poisoned, slowed, and paralyzed for 1 minute. On a success, they take half as much damage and gain the conditions until the end of their next turn. The target may retry this saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending this effect early on a success. Protecting Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms (20 Chakra). Hinata forms a 10 ft. radius barrier around her for 1 minute (concentration). When a creature passes through this barrier, they must attempt a DC 20 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, they take 12 (2d6 + 5) force damage. On a success, they take half as much damage. This deals twice as much damage to swarms. Gentle Step Twin Lion Fist (12 Chakra). Melee Spell Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (5d4 + 5) magical bludgeoning damage and they must succeed a DC 20 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, it loses 6 (1d12) chakra points or an equal resource (rounded down). This can only be used while Byakugan is active. Eight Trigrams Twin Lions Crumbling Attack (22 Chakra). Any creatures of Hinata's choice in a 5 ft. radius must attempt a DC 20 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, it takes 24 (4d8 + 5) force damage and loses 9 (2d8) chakra points or equal resource (rounded up). On a success, they take half as much damage and lose half as many chakra points. Sage Meditation. As a full turn action, Hinata becomes blind and prone until the beginning of her next turn, and 4 points of her normal chakra becomes twice as many senjutsu chakra points. Passive Sage Meditation. As an action, 3 points of Hinata's normal chakra becomes twice as many senjutsu chakra points. Sage Art. As part of another jutsu, Hinata either fulfills its cost with senjutsu, or spends an additional amount of senjutsu chakra equal to 1/4 of its cost, doubling the range or damage of, grants a creature disadvantage against any 1 saving throw it incurs, or grants herself advantage on any 1 saving throw it incurs. Partial Sage Mode. Hinata gains the following:
REACTIONSSubstitution (3+ Chakra). When Hinata is hit by an attack and would take damage, she decreases the damage by 28 (1d10 + 23) and teleports up to 15 ft. in any direction to an unoccupied space, during which she takes the Hide action. A generic object is left in her place and she takes any remaining damage from that attack. Hinata can add reduce this damage by an additional 6 (1d10) points per chakra point spent over the initial cost. |
Two years after the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, Hinata felt that her love for Naruto had matured to the point of asking him to date her. However, crestfallen by his many fangirls, she believed she had no chance with him; the greatest her of their village, possibly the world. In that moment, an image of Toneri Otsutsuki appeared to her, at first wishing to take his place in her heart. But after he realized the impossibility of such a thing, he dispatched his puppets to kidnap her. While he could not capture her thanks to Naruto's efforts, he was successful in capturing Hanabi, her younger sister. As the two, along with Sai and Sakura, tracked him down to a strange cave, they were trapped in a genjutsu, reliving memories while suspended in the air. Unbeknownst to her, these memories were shared with Naruto, making him realize just how much she cared for him, as well as how much he cared for her. After Sakura saved them, they found themselves in the grassy interior of the moon, which had recently began hurtling toward the Earth, particularly an ancient Hyuga crypt where the ghost of an ancient Hyuga connected her to Hamura himself, who secretly imparted a portion of his power and revealed the only way to defeat Toneri should he awaken the Tenseigan. When Toneri himself appeared before them, she reluctantly went with them, having not told her friends her plan. After making sure Hanabi was okay and tracking down the power source within the moon being used to cause its collision course, she attempted to destroy it, only for Toneri to stop her himself, having suspected her plot all along. Despite knowing first hand that this was not what Hamura wanted for his clan, she was unable to convince him. Placing her under genjutsu, he went ahead with the wedding. But before it could be finalized, Naruto appeared, freeing her and destroying the moon's power source together after awakening her Outer Path Sage Mode. However, with Toneri's full Tenseigan awakened and her own Hamura-given chakra exhausted, she returned to her old power and was captured once more, but he was no match for the power and emotion welling within Naruto. Taking back her sister's eyes and returning home, the two entered a relationship that would last the rest of their lives. |
