Chakra. Naruto has 30 chakra points which he can expend. All chakra points are regained at the end of a long rest.

Evasion. When Naruto is targeted by an area effect that lets him make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, such as fireball, he instead takes no damage if he succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if he fails the save.

Ninja Speed. Naruto can take the dash, dodge, and disengage actions as a bonus action for 2 chakra.

Red Chakra. Some of Naruto's features grant him "red chakra". If his own chakra is less than his red chakra, he must attempt a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw at the end of each of his turns. On a failure, he is forced to activate Initial Release and is controlled by Kurama. This ends if he becomes unconscious, or if Kurama chooses to do so willingly. These special "red" chakra are counted separately from his normal chakra. He can use this chakra on one Jutsu or spread them across multiple, but he can not spend these points and his own normal chakra points on the same jutsu. This chakra can extend above his chakra point maximum, and is lost at the end of a short rest.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. Naruto can make 2 unarmed strike or kunai attacks.

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 2) bludgeoning damage.

Kunai. Thrown Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 30/60 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) piercing damage. Naruto may spend up to 3 chakra when he takes this action, making one additional attack per chakra point spent. Each additional kunai deals 3 (1d4 + 1) piercing damage on a hit.

Finally recovered from his fight with Kabuto, Naruto visited Sasuke, who himself was recovering from a run-in with his brother, Itachi. When Sasuke awoke, he immediately demanded to fight Naruto on the hospital's roof. As the two charged at each other, Chidori in one hand and Rasengan in the other, Kakashi immediately stepped in, deflecting their attacks into two water towers. As Naruto left, Sasuke felt a smug pride at having left a gaping hole in the tower he hit, compared to Naruto's nearly undamaged tower, only to find that the opposite side of Naruto's had been completely destroyed. Falling asleep that night convinced that, even in his current mental state, Sasuke would never leave the village for power, Sasuke left with the Sound Four. As Choji, Neji, Shikamaru, and Kiba stayed behind to fend off the Sound nin, Naruto came face-to-face with a threat not even the jonin scouts were aware of; Kimimaro. After a brief fight, Rock Lee, finally healed from his fight with Gaara, stepped in to save the day.

Finally able to face down and accept that Sasuke wasn't who Naruto thought he was, Naruto vowed to bring Sasuke home by any means necessary, but was beaten back by his rival, who didn't even need to use his sharingan. Manifesting more Nine-Tails chakra than ever before, Naruto's fiery aura solidified into a bubbly chakra shroud, revealing a single tail. Finally strong enough for Sasuke to both activate his sharingan and fully reveal his mastered Cursed Mark, the two were finally able to have their jutsu clash, with Naruto still having the upper hand. But when given the chance to go for a killing blow moments before the exhaustion set in, Naruto refused, instead crossing out Sasuke's headband, marking him as a rogue nin. With Sasuke long-gone, the rest of the Sasuke Recovery Mission team recovered Naruto's unconscious body, hospitalizing four of the five initial members. Awaking immobilized, Naruto's vow was unshaken; he would bring Sasuke back no matter what. Leaving with Jiraiya, Naruto trained constantly for two years, reaching a new level of strength, but still being far behind Sasuke.
