Chakra. Zaku has 12 chakra points which he can expend. All chakra points are regained at the end of a long rest.

Ninja Speed. Zaku can take the dash, dodge, and disengage actions as a bonus action for 2 chakra.

ACTIONS

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 2) bludgeoning damage.

Kunai. Thrown Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 30/60 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) piercing damage. Zaku may spend up to 3 chakra when he takes this action, making one additional attack per chakra point spent. Each additional kunai deals 3 (1d4 + 1) piercing damage on a hit.

Decapitating Airwaves (1 Chakra). As part of an unarmed strike, Zaku's reach increases by 5 feet and the attack's damage type becomes thunder, and its attack and damage rolls gain a +1 bonus.

Extreme Decapitating Airwaves (10 Chakra). All creatures in a 25 ft. cone must attempt a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 13 (2d8 + 4) thunder damage and 9 (2d8) slashing damage. Creatures without chakra detection, blindsight, or truesight have disadvantage.

Basic Ninjutsu Technique (1 Chakra). As a bonus action, Zaku can move across liquid surfaces as if they were solid. If he is submerged, he rises to the surface of the liquid at a rate of 60 feet per round.

Transformation (1+ Chakra). Zaku becomes identical to a person, creature or non-magical object he has a complete visual image of. This can not be a light source, armor, tool, or vehicle and, and he can not recreate a magical effect. Creatures must make a DC 13 Investigation check realize that he is transformed. If the creature saw him performing the Jutsu, they automatically succeed. This does not change statistics, save for granting the creature's swimming and flying speeds.

Body Flicker (3 Chakra). Zaku's movement speed doubles, and his movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

REACTIONS

Substitution (3+ Chakra). When Zaku is hit by an attack and would take damage, he decreases the damage by 11 (1d10 + 6) and teleports up to 15 ft. in any direction to an unoccupied space, during which he takes the Hide action. A generic object is left in his place and he takes any remaining damage from that attack. Zaku can reduce this damage by an additional 5 (1d10) points per chakra point spent over the initial cost.

Once a homeless orphan in a small town in a small nation, Zaku Abumi was forced to steal to survive, often being beaten as punishment. When he was approached by Orochimaru, who promised to make him strong if he joined him, Zaku agreed without a second thought. Overconfident and shortsighted, Zaku relied on his implants, which allowed him to combine air and sound into various attacks, to get himself out of dangerous situations often caused by himself. He, Kin, and Dosu, two other shinobi loyal to Orochimaru's Hidden Sound Village worked together to infiltrate the Hidden Leaf Village during their Chunin Exams to prepare for a full on assault. During the second round, they were ordered by their master to assassinate Sasuke Uchiha. While the three were able to hold their own against a team consisting of Rock Lee, Tenten, Neji, Ino, Shikamaru, Choji, and Sakura, though many did not go all-out. However, when Sasuke awoke along with his Cursed Mark, the rest of Team Dosu surrendered, though Zaku did not recognize the power and fought on. Using his most powerful technique, Sasuke easily evaded and counterattacked, dislocating both of Zaku's arms. Entering the third round, a tournament, he was challenged by Shino Aburame, who completely saw through his techniques, building pressure in his arm implants until they exploded, taking his arms with them, before knocking him out. No longer fit to be a shinobi, Orochimaru sacrificed him to resurrect the Second Hokage, revealing that he only every considered Zaku a disposable pawn.
