Chakra. Yugito has 34 chakra points which she can expend. All chakra points are regained at the end of a long rest.

Evasion. When Yugito is targeted by an area effect that lets her make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, such as fireball, she instead takes no damage if she succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if she fails the save.

Ninja Speed. Yugito can take the dash, dodge, and disengage actions as a bonus action, and can move along vertical surfaces.

Red Chakra. Some of Yugito's features grant her "red chakra". If her own chakra is less than her red chakra, she must attempt a DC 14 Constitution saving throw at the end of each of her turns. On a failure, she gains 1 level of exhaustion. This DC increases to 16 in Initial Release, 18 in Tailed Release, and 20 in Tailed Beast Mode. These special "red" chakra are counted separately from her normal chakra. She can use this chakra on one Jutsu or spread them across multiple, but she can not spend these points and her own normal chakra points on the same jutsu. This chakra can extend above his chakra point maximum, and is lost at the end of a short rest.

Claw Creation. While Yugito has at least 1 chakra point, her unarmed strikes have 10 additional feet of reach (15 ft. total).

ACTIONS

Multiattack. Yugito can make 3 unarmed strike or kunai attacks.

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (3d4 + 3) magical bludgeoning damage.

Kunai. Thrown Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 30/60 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage. Yugito may spend up to 3 chakra when she takes this action, making one additional attack per chakra point spent. Each additional kunai deals 3 (1d4 + 1) piercing damage on a hit.

Transformation (1+ Chakra). Yugito becomes identical to a person, creature or non-magical object she a complete visual image of. This can not be a light source, armor, tool, or vehicle and, and she can not recreate a magical effect. Creatures must make a DC 16 Investigation check realize that she is transformed. If the creature saw her performing the Jutsu, they automatically succeed. This does not change statistics, save for granting the creature's swimming and flying speeds.

Body Flicker (3 Chakra). Yugito's movement speed doubles, and her movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

Basic Ninjutsu Technique (1 Chakra). As a bonus action, Yugito can move across liquid surfaces as if they were solid. If she is submerged, she rises to the surface of the liquid at a rate of 60 feet per round.

Hidden Chakra. When Yugito has less than half his maximum chakra, he gains 18 red chakra. He may use this once, regaining all uses at the end of a long rest.

Initial Release. As a bonus action, Yugito enters Initial Release. This reveals her as a Jinchūriki to anyone that can see her and anyone who can detect magic or see chakra may make an Insight check, and she gains the following benefits:

  • The cost of all Jutsu Yugito knows are reduced in chakra costs by 1, except for Jutsu that only cost 1 chakra.
  • Yugito's movement speed increases by +10 ft.
  • At the start of each of his turns, Yugito regains 2 hit points.
  • Yugito gains advantage on Strength and Dexterity checks and saving throws.
  • This state ends if Yugito chooses to do so as an action, or if she is knocked unconscious.
  • Yugito loses 2 chakra and gains 1 red chakra at the end of each of her turns.

Tailed Release. While Initial Release is active, Yugito gains the following:

  • Yugito's unarmed strikes deal an additional 3 (1d4) slashing damage.
  • Yugito's movement speeds increase by 15 ft.
  • Yugito regains additional 2 hit points (4 total) at the beginning of each of her turns.
  • On any successful unarmed strike, the targets movement speed is decreased by 5 feet until the end of their next turn.
  • Yugito can activate Hidden Chakra as a bonus action, and can use red chakra in tandem with her own.
  • Yugito loses 4 chakra and gains 2 red chakra at the end of each of his turns.

Tailed Beast Mode. As a full turn action, Yugito becomes identical to Matatabi with the same percentage of hit points remaining. If she is reduced to 0 hit points, Yugito returns to her normal form. Yugito keeps her features, chakra points, and chakra point maximum while in this form. Yugito loses 6 chakra and gains 3 red chakra at the end of each of his turns.

Mouse Hairball (2-6 Chakra). Two creatures within 120 ft. take 3 (1d4 + 1) fire damage. Yugito may target two additional creatures for every 2 additional chakra spent.

Blue Fire Amplification (5 Chakra). When Yugito casts a jutsu that deals damage, all of its damage is converted into fire damage. Additionally, if the target fails jutsu's this saving throw, they take 14 (2d10 + 3) fire damage and at the start of its turn, it takes 8 (1d10 + 3) fire damage for 1 minute. This jutsu can only affect one creature at a time. They may retry this saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending this effect early on a success. If the jutsu did not have a saving throw, the target must attempt a DC 16 Constitution saving throw after they take damage.

Flaming Cat Roar (8 Chakra). Ranged Spell Attack: +9 to hit, range 150 ft., one target. Hit: 35 (8d6 + 4) fire damage.

Exploding Flame Shot (4 Chakra). Ranged Spell Attack: +9 to hit, range 60 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) fire damage and at the start of its turn, the target takes 3 (1d6) fire damage. At the end of each of its turns, the target must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw. On a successful save, it's no longer on fire. If the target or a creature within 5 feet of it uses an action to put out the flames, or if some other effect douses the flames (such as the target being submerged in water), it is no longer on fire. Yugito may make 3 of these attacks each time she uses this jutsu, spending 4 total chakra.

Fire Rat (5 Chakra). Yugito creates 3 fire rats within 60 ft. of her that last for 1 minute. Each fire rat has 5 hit points and 12 AC, and occupies a 5 ft. cube. When a creature moves through a fire rat's space or a fire rat drops to 0 hit points, it detonates. Yugito may detonate up to 3 fire rats as a bonus action. When a fire rat detonates, every creature within 5 ft. of the fire rat must attempt a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 13 (2d8 + 4) fire damage.

Flying Claw (2 Chakra). Yugito flies 20 ft. straight up and stays there until the beginning of her next turn.

REACTIONS

Substitution (3+ Chakra). When Yugito is hit by an attack and would take damage, she decreases the damage by 20 (1d10 + 15) and teleports up to 15 ft. in any direction to an unoccupied space, during which she takes the Hide action. A generic object is left in her place and she takes any remaining damage from that attack. Yugito can reduce this damage by an additional 6 (1d10) points per chakra point spent over the initial cost.

At the age of two, Matatabi was sealed within Yugito Nii as part of a program within the Hidden Cloud Village's equivalent to Root. Being put through harsh training to fully control her tailed beast chakra, her rank development was among the likes of Kakashi, Itachi and Minato. Putting most of her self worth into her abilities, she quickly became one of Killer B's closest friends and inspirations. However, on a normal scouting mission of various minor nations, she was ambushed by Hidan and Kakuzu. Evading through the sewers and nearly escaping, she was taken out by Hidan's curse, and Matatabi was sealed within the Gedo Mazo. When the Fourth Shinobi World War began, she and the other jinchuriki were revived by Kabuto and Obito to apprehend Naruto and B in order to resurrect the Ten-Tails, though ultimately the two strongest jinchuriki, and later Kakashi and Might Guy as backup, were able to defeat the team of beasts, leading to Obito finding an alternate solution. Following Kabuto's defeat, Yugito and the other jinchuriki's souls returned to the afterlife.
