From D&D Wiki
Hidan[edit]
Medium humanoid (Human), lawful evil Armor Class 18 (Natural Armor)
Saving Throws Dex +8, Int +8 Chakra. Hidan has 26 chakra points which he can expend. All chakra points are regained at the end of a long rest. Evasion. When Hidan is targeted by an effect that allows him to make a Dexterity saving throw to take half damage on a success, he takes no damage on a success and half damage on a failure. Afterglow. Once per turn when Hidan has advantage on any one attack roll, or if a creature has disadvantage on a saving throw he inflicts on them, he may deal an additional 11 (3d6) damage. Terrifying. While frightened of Hidan by any means, creatures must attempt a DC 16 Charisma saving throw at the beginning of each of their turns. On a failure, they must make 1 attack of their choice against themself. This does not consume their action. Ninja Speed. Hidan can take the dash, dodge, and disengage actions as a bonus action, and can move along vertical surfaces. Jashin Immortality. Hidan can not be killed by any means other than starvation or being killed instantly. When he takes damage not explicitly targeted at his neck, he does not lose hit points. This does not extend to any form of clones. If he is reduced to 0 hit points, he becomes paralyzed, save for being able to speak, and he is reduced to a head. Hidan can return to full hit points by having his head sewn to a headless body, including his own, using leatherworker's tools, weaver's tools, or Earth Grudge Fear. Hidan can only be sewn to a humanoid body, and he replaces his Strength, Dexterity and Constitution scores with those of the body he is sewn into and gain its racial features. ACTIONSMultiattack. Hidan can make 3 unarmed strike, triple-bladed scythe, one-handed spear, two-handed spear, or kunai attacks. Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (3d4 + 3) magical bludgeoning damage. Kunai. Thrown Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, range 30/90 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage. Hidan may spend up to 3 chakra when he takes this action, making one additional attack per chakra point spent. Each additional kunai deals 3 (1d4 + 1) piercing damage on a hit. Triple-Bladed Scythe. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (2d4 + 3) slashing damage. Hidan may make an attack using this weapon with a reach of 30 ft., but must reclaim it as a bonus action to make attacks with it again. Hidan may make one of these attacks as a bonus action after making an attack with his one-handed spear. One-Handed Spear. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage. Hidan may make one of these attacks as a bonus action after making an attack with his triple-bladed scythe. Two-Handed Spear. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage. Killing Intent. Any creatures of Hidan's choice that can see or hear him must succeed a DC 16 Charisma saving throw or become frightened of him for 1 minute. Hidan may do this once, regaining all uses at the end of a long rest. Hidan may spend chakra when a creature makes this saving throw to grant them an equal penalty for that saving throw. Attack of the Demon Blade (4 Chakra). As part of an attack with a weapon Hidan is proficient with against a restrained creature, he deals maximum damage and an additional 11 damage, and the target is no longer restrained. Dragon Tail Foot (3 Chakra). Melee Spell Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (3d4 + 4) magical bludgeoning damage and the target is forced 15 feet away from Hidan. This can be used as a bonus action immediately after damaging a creature with an attack with a weapon Hidan is proficient with. Flying Revolving Sword (2 Chakra). When Hidan makes a melee weapon attack, it becomes a thrown attack with a range of 60 feet. If the weapon is two-handed and an object is targeted, the blade is planted firmly into its side, and creatures with the Path of the Assassin or a passive Acrobatics of 19 or higher may stand on the blade as if it were normal terrain. Leaf Great Flash (10 Chakra). Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: The target moves 30 ft. in a direction of Hidan's choice. Shadow of the Dancing Leaf (3 Chakra). As a bonus action, Hidan gains the ability to move across any liquid surface— such as water, acid, mud, snow, quicksand, or lava— as if it were harmless solid ground (creatures crossing molten lava can still take damage from the heat) for 1 minute. If he casts this Jutsu while submerged in a liquid, the Jutsu carries him to the surface of the liquid at a rate of 60 feet per round. Additionally, his movement speed increases by half its total (rounded down), and attacks of opportunity against him have disadvantage. Leaf Gust (8 Chakra). Hidan makes an unarmed strike against every creature within 5 ft.. Jashin Ritual. Hidan creates a 10 ft. radius symbol. Curse Technique: Death Controlling Possessed Blood (5 Chakra). As a bonus action while within a Jashin Ritual symbol on the same turn as dealing damage to a creature using a melee attack, Hidan consumes their blood. This does not work against Constructs or Undead. For 1 minute, any damage dealt to Hidan deals equal damage to the creature whose blood he consumed. Exiting the Jashin Ritual symbol ends the jutsu. REACTIONSSubstitution (3+ Chakra). When Hidan is hit by an attack and would take damage, he decreases the damage by 18 (1d10 + 13) and teleports up to 15 ft. in any direction to an unoccupied space, during which he takes the Hide action. A generic object is left in his place and he takes any remaining damage from that attack. Hidan can add reduce this damage by an additional 6 (1d10) points per chakra point spent over the initial cost. |
From the start, Hidan was a sadistic, disrespectful youth, so much so that when he discovered the Chinoike clan, many of his fellow villagers from the Hidden Steam Village believed he had been the culprit. When his once-glorious Village Hidden in Hot Water changed from a dangerous shinobi village to a hot spring-based tourist destination, his search for purpose led him to the Cult of Jashin, who taught that the only true good in the world in the eyes of the god Jashin. Becoming a dangerous criminal in less than a year, he was granted the cult's greatest blessing: immortality. With no shinobi beyond the rank of genin of their own to deal with a dangerous murderer, the Hidden Steam hired the Akatsuki, who sent Itachi, Konan, and Kakuzu. While the three would've had no issue defeating him alone, his ability to skewer one of Kakuzu's hearts, and his obsession with his alternate form of immortality, made him a prime candidate for their next member, and Kakuzu's new partner after he killed his previous partner for his heart. One of the most prolific teams, Kakuzu took the most money-making missions of any member, while Hidan tracked down and slayed the most jinchuriki, killing both Yugito and Fu for their tailed beasts. During the Hidden Leaf's Akatsuki suppression mission, Hidan and Kakuzu were the only squad to be found, being found by Shikamaru, Asuma, Kotetsu, and Izumo. While Hidan was decapitated in the first moments of the fight, he was quickly returned to his body where he sacrificed Asuma to his god. As Choji and Ino arrived on the scene, the two Akatsuki members quickly disappeared. Being tracked down for vengeance by Shikamaru, Ino, Choji, and Kakashi, Hidan was buried in an unmarked grave within the Nara clan's forest where he slowly starved to death. |
