At the age of 15, Bulma discovered the two-star Dragon Ball in the basement of the house of her rich father, the great Dr. Briefs. Creating the first Dragon Radar by herself, she left home to wish for an infinite supply of strawberries, though along her journey this wish morphed into finding the perfect boyfriend. Eventually, her journey took her to Mount Paozu, where she was attacked by a strange boy she had hit with her car, which he had survived without a scratch. Even a blast from her handgun did nothing, nor did any persuasion that the four-star Dragon Ball wasn't this "Son Goku's" grandfather. Unbeknownst to her, she had just began the journey of a lifetime, whether it be gathering the Dragon Balls while bringing Puar, Oolong, and Yamcha along, the latter of which she fell in love with, cheering on her friends in the World Tournament, being kidnapped by the Red Ribbon Army, or gathering the Dragon Balls yet again in a bid to stop the evil King Piccolo, her life was never without adventure, at least until the King Piccolo's defeat seemingly put the world at peace. For the next 8 years, save for a scare with King Piccolo's reincarnation, she returned to the peaceful, plentiful life of head of Capsule Corp.
