Make a melee spell attack against a creature you can reach. On a hit, the target takes force damage equal to your level + your Constitution modifier + your spellcasting modifier.

When you land a critical hit with this spell, add half of the damage dealt to the total.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 5 for each slot level above 1st.
