Chakra. Tayuya has 31 chakra points which she can expend. All chakra points are regained at the end of a long rest.

Evasion. When Tayuya is targeted by an area effect that lets her make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, such as fireball, she instead takes no damage if she succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if she fails the save.

Ninja Speed. Tayuya can take the dash, dodge, and disengage actions as a bonus action, and can move along vertical surfaces.

Black Chakra. Some of Tayuya's features grant her "black chakra". Black chakra can exceed her maximum chakra, and is lost at the end of a long rest. Tayuya can spend black chakra as if it were normal chakra, but if she chooses to do so she must spend an equal number of normal and black chakra. While Tayuya has more black chakra than regular chakra, she must attempt a DC 15 Charisma saving throw at the end of each of her turns. On a failure, she becomes berserk until the end of her next turn.

Demonic Flute. When Tayuya casts a jutsu labled Genjutsu, she may spend 4 chakra to make it an auditory genjutsu, effecting every non-deafened creature within 5 ft. of the targeted area.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. Tayuya makes 2 attacks with her unarmed strike, kunai, or Demonic Flute attacks.

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 2) magical bludgeoning damage.

Kunai (0-3 Chakra). Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) piercing damage. Tayuya may spend up to 3 chakra when he takes this action, making one additional attack per chakra point spent. Each additional kunai deals 3 (1d4 + 1) piercing damage on a hit.

Demonic Flute. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) magical bludgeoning damage.

Cursed Mark. As a bonus action, Tayuya gains the following until she ends this effect as an action:

  • Tayuya's maximum hit points are decreased by 3 (1d4 + 1) at the end of each of her turns, and she gains an equal number of black chakra. Tayuya's hit point maximum returns to normal at the end of a long rest.
  • Tayuya's Intelligence increases by 2 to a maximum of 24, and thus any jutsu attack and damage rolls and DCs are increased by +1.

Second Stage. While Cursed Mark is active, Tayuya gains the following:

  • Tayuya's maximum hit points are decreased by a total of 5 (1d4 + 3) at the end of each of her turns, and she gains an equal number of black chakra. Tayuya's hit point maximum returns to normal at the end of a long rest.
  • Tayuya's Intelligence increases by 2 to a maximum of 26, and thus any jutsu attack and damage rolls and DCs are increased by +1 (+2 total).
  • Tayuya's Demonic Flute area is double, and a jutsu under its effect has its range doubled.

Illusory Warriors Manipulating Melody (15 Chakra). While Second Stage is active, Tayuya summons the three Doki in three open spaces within 15 ft. of her. She may control all three Doki as a single action. Each of the Doki have their own movement, bonus action, and reaction, but share a single action. When Tayuya or any of the Doki take the Attack action, she may split their attacks between she and any of the Doki. Additionally, creatures without this jutsu have a -2 penalty to their DC and saving throw for the Doki's Unliving feature. For 1 minute, Tayuya may summon or desummon the Doki as a bonus action without spending chakra. At the end of this jutsu's duration, they are desummoned.

Revolt of the Demon World (10 Chakra). While Tayuya is controlling the Doki, they become unconcious, and her movement speed drops to 0. All creatures within a 5 ft. radius of the Doki except her must attempt a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they lose 11 (3d6) chakra points. If they do not have any chakra points, they gain 1 level of exhaustion. At the beginning of each of Tayuya's turns for 1 minute (concentration), this radius increases by 5 ft., and any creatures within the radius must make this saving throw again. If Tayuya loses control of one of the Doki, it loses the effects of this jutsu.

Floating Sound (9 Chakra). Tayuya gains 3 sound orbs for 1 minute (concentration).

Genjutsu: Orb Attack (1 Sound Orb). Ranged Spell Attack: +8 to hit, range 15 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 4) thunder damage. This can be done as a bonus action.

Phantom Spirit Wave (13 Chakra). While Second Stage is active, all creatures in a 60 ft. line must attempt a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they lose 11 (3d6) chakra points. If they do not have any chakra points, they gain 1 level of exhaustion.

Genjutsu: Phantom Sound Chains (12 Chakra). One creature within 50 ft. must make a DC 16 Intelligence saving throw. On a failure, they are paralyzed for 1 minute (concentration). At the end of each of their turns, the target can repeat the saving throw.

Genjutsu: Coercion Genjutsu (7 Chakra). One creature within 50 ft. must make a DC 16 Charisma saving throw. On a failure, they are frightened for 1 minute (concentration), and they are knocked prone. As an action, the target can repeat this saving throw, ending this effect early on a success.

Transportation Jutsu Formula: Underworld Turnover (20 Chakra). Tayuya creates a 20 ft. radius eyeball-like sphere around herself. All creatures inside the sphere become unconscious until they are targeted by the basic Yin Style technique. If a creature spends 1 hour unconcious within the sphere, they die instantly. The wall provides total cover and has 100 hit points each. If the wall is destroyed, it shatters, dealing 7 (2d6) bludgeoning damage to the creatures inside, as well as the amount of damage remaining that the wall would have taken. A creature inside the dome when it is destroyed does not become targeted by the effect that destroyed it.

Basic Ninjutsu Technique (1 Chakra). As a bonus action, Tayuya can move across liquid surfaces as if they were solid. If she is submerged, she rises to the surface of the liquid at a rate of 60 feet per round.

Body Flicker (3 Chakra). Tayuya's movement speed doubles, and her movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

Transformation (1+ Chakra). Tayuya becomes identical to a person, creature or non-magical object she has a complete visual image of for 1 hour (concentration). This can not be a light source, armor, tool, or vehicle, and she can not recreate a magical effect. Creatures must make a DC 16 Investigation check realize that she is transformed. If the creature saw her performing the Jutsu, they automatically succeed. This does not change statistics, save for granting the creature's swimming and flying speeds.

Combined Transformation (10 Chakra). When Tayuya casts Transformation while touching a willing creature, she and the creature become a single creature or object. They become a single creature, she may choose either creature's size category to be the combined creature's, and the combined creature has the best of either creature's features, proficiencies, and proficiency bonus. The combined creature acts on Tayuya's turn, and any damage it takes is dealt to whichever component creature has the highest hit points. Using this jutsu decreases the transformation from a number of hours to an equal number of minutes.

REACTIONS

Substitution (3+ Chakra). When Tayuya is hit by an attack and would take damage, she decreases the damage by 15 (1d10 + 10) and teleports up to 15 ft. in any direction to an unoccupied space, during which she takes the Hide action. A generic object is left in his place and she takes any remaining damage from that attack. Tayuya can reduce this damage by an additional 5 (1d10) points per chakra point spent over the initial cost.

A member of Orochimaru's elite squad, the Sound Four, Tayuya earned her position and freedom from the Sound Village's vast prison/experimentation system by slaughtering her fellow prisoners in massive battles organized for Orochimaru's research. With murdering her closest friends came bottomless aggression, even toward her teammates, Kabuto, and Orochimaru himself. This aggression is only amplified by the Cursed Mark's intoxicating chakra. While not technically bearing a kekkei genkai like the rest of the Sound Four, Tayuya wields the legendary Doki, the secret of which has been passed down through her clan for generations and may as well be one.

During her mission to bring Sasuke to Orochimaru, she was left behind to delay his Hidden Leaf Village pursuers after Jirobo and Kidomaru's failures, though Shikamaru stayed behind himself to allow the rest of his team to proceed. Though the Leaf tactician had not yet witnessed her leader's strength, he surmised that she was easily the strongest of the group. Tayuya outmatched the boy in ever category, escaping every one of his techniques and catching him in each of his own. However, when Temari arrived as backup, not only did she lose her numerical advantage, but the Sand kunoichi's large-scale attacks quickly took her terrain advantage, and shortly after her life.

During the Fourth Shinobi World War, the Sound Four were resurrected by Kabuto to do battle with the ones that killed them. While stalemated at best against Shikamaru, her ability to now use Underworld Turnover without drawback thanks to her immortal body quickly turned the tide, though Shikamaru quickly pulled together a strategy to draw Naruto to their location using their enhanced hatred, leading to their almost immediate sealing.
