Gluttony (FMA Supplement)
Gluttony[edit]
Medium humanoid (Homunculus), lawful evil Armor Class 20 (natural armor)
Saving Throws Con +13, Cha +5 Soul Points. Gluttony has 20 soul points, which are regained at the end of a long rest, and 20 temporary soul points. He can consume a philosopher's stone to regain half the number of Alchemic Stamina points as soul points. If this would increase his soul points above his maximum, he instead gains temporary soul points. TSP can stack and can be used in the same manner as normal soul points, but are not regained at the end of a long rest. Homunculus. Gluttony can not spend Alchemic Stamina, is immune to the effects of diseases and poisons, and does not need to eat, drink, breath, or sleep. When Gluttony takes a short rest, he gains the benefits of a long rest. Soul Surge. At will, Gluttony may spend 3 soul points to regain his reaction. Additionally, on his turn, Gluttony can spend 1 soul point to take one additional bonus action, and he may spend 2 additional soul points to make one additional action as well. Consumption. When Gluttony kills a humanoid creature that has a CR of 1 or lower with an unarmed strike, he gains 1 temporary soul point, completely devouring their body in seconds. He may consume corpses in the same manner, but does not gain soul points from doing so. Digestion. Gluttony's unarmed strikes deal twice as much damage to objects and constructs, and he suffers no negative effects from eating inanimate objects. Additionally, his unarmed strikes automatically hit a creature he is grappling. Connoisseur. Gluttony is aware of the effects and location of any poisons, potions, and other substances that would otherwise cause an effect through consumption within 15 feet of him, and he may choose to not be affected by such an effect if you consume the substance. ACTIONSMultiattack. Gluttony makes two attacks with his unarmed strike. Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d4 + 7) bludgeoning damage. When Gluttony kills a humanoid creature, he regains soul points equal to their level or CR (minimum 1). Regeneration (1 Soul Point). As a bonus action, Gluttony regains 15 hit points. Gluttony may spend 2 soul points to use Regeneration as a free action, or 3 soul points to use it at will or when he is reduced to 0 hit points. Unyielding (1 Soul Point). Gluttony takes the dash, dodge, or disengage actions as bonus actions. He can take each of these actions on the same bonus action for 1 additional soul point. Track (3 Soul Points). Gluttony picks one creature within a 30 ft. radius of him to track the smell of, allowing him to perfectly follow where they have been until he becomes incapacitated or uses this feature on another creature. Open Portal. As a full turn action, or as an action for 1 soul point, bonus action for 2 soul points, or free action for 3 soul points, all creatures in a 30 ft. long, 15 ft. wide line must make a DC 21 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 33 (4d12 + 7) force damage. On a success, they take half as much damage. If a creature is reduced to 0 hit points by this, they are instead reduced to 1 and teleported to the dimension Gluttony's portal leads to. Berserk Portal (15 Soul Points). Gluttony's size increases to Large, his melee attacks deal twice as much damage, and Open Portal costs 1 fewer soul points, but he becomes berserk, Regeneration causes him to regain half as many hit points, and when he falls prone he must spend an action to end the condition in addition to spending his movement for 1 minute.

The sixth of Father's homunculi to be created, Gluttony was an attempted shortcut to attaining godhood; a living recreation of the Gate of Truth. However, instead of leading to Truth's realm of infinite knowledge, Gluttony's portal lead to a lightless void that began to fill with anything he ate. Infatuated with Lust, Gluttony became enraged after finding Roy Mustang, her killer, while captured by Ling Yao, accidentally pulling Ling, Envy, and most importantly Edward Elric through his portal in a fit of rage, though the three would be freed by a stroke of luck and genius on Edward's part. In tracking down Father's sacrifices, Gluttony and Pride were sent to bring in Alphonse Elric, where they were ambushed by Greed and Lan Fan, his host's bodyguard. When both became severely weakened, Pride, the stronger of the two, consumed Gluttony's stone, killing Gluttony to save himself. |
