Character Creation (Black Clover Supplement)

Character

In the Black Clover world, the path of a mage has many routes. From being naturally blessed, a hard worker, a instinct based fighter or even born without magic, these paths will all lead you to creating an interesting and different character!

Magical Classes

In the Black Clover world there is a universal energy called Mana. It is located inside every creature that exists, even animals and plants. Some people are natural adepts of utilizing Mana, others use their training and hardwork to master, while others simply follow their instincts to connect with Mana. On rare cases however, someone can be born without a single drop of mana...

When creating your character, you must choose one of the classes described below:

Innate Mage

Innate Mages have everything figured it out at a young age, to them Mana is as natural as walking.

Spellmaster Mage

Spellmaster Mages have the drive to work hard from the moment they were born, as they need to study Mana and its principles to grow.

Combatant Mage

Combatant Mages simply let the flow of battle guide them, as they rely on instincts alone to win battles.

Anti-Magic Mage

The Anti-Magic Mages are an extremely rare occurence, so much so only one was known in the entire world. They are the antithesis to the power that circulates the world, even being seen as demonic by some.

Races

Black Clover has a great variety of races to choose from, however most of them outside humans are hidden away in other planes or are close to extinction.

Human

Humans are the dominant race in the living world, occupying the major kingdoms and lands.

Elf

Elves are peaceful group of people who once lived in the lands of the Clover Kingdom, before a great massacre occurred that changed their tribe's history forever.

Dwarf

Dwarves are an almost extinct hardworkimg group of people, who dedicate their lives to a craft.

Devil

Devils are an ancient race of magical and malevolent beings that dwell in the underworld.

Backgrounds

Black Clover is set into the medieval age, and such has backgrounds that follow said pattern. Any official or homebrew 5e background that fits the setting can be used during character creation.
