Dwarf[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

Dwarves are similar to humans in appearance, however they are much smaller in size.

Attitudes and Beliefs[edit]

Dwarves follow their heart above all else, searching for their passion like a sick obsession. However, they always manage to turn this passion into something that can help their loved ones.

Dwarf Names[edit]

The names of the dwarf population have been lost to time, now only being named as normal humans would.

Dwarf Traits[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 2.
Age. Dwarves mature at the same rate as humans, however they live about a century more.
Alignment. Not much is known about dwarves and their beliefs, however from the small number of registered dwarves they tend to have strong values that align them with good.
Size. Dwarves stand between 3 and 4 feet tall, not being known for their height. Your size is Small.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 25 feet.
Dwarven Constitution. You are known for your resistant body. Your hit point maximum increases by your level added twice. Whenever you increase in level, your hit points are increased by 2 once more. Also, you have resistance against poison damage and you have advantage on saving throws against being Envenomed or poisoned. Finally, you add your Constitution modifier twice when calculating your mana total.
Passion. You have a passion that you follow above everything else. Choose a skill or a tool. You gain expertise with the skill or tool chosen.
Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.

Pure Dwarf[edit]

Pure Dwarves were the true ancient race, only wishing to remain closed off to themselves in their caves.

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 1.
Darkvision. Accustomed to life underground, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Proficient Miners. Your dwarf blood makes you naturally good when it comes to minerals and ores. Whenever you make an Intelligence skill check related to minerals or ores (magical or not), you are considered proficient in said skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency bonus.

Half-Dwarf[edit]

Hybrids of Dwarves and another race, generally resembling their dwarf side more than the other race's.

Ability Score Increase. The ability score your other race normally increases is increased by +1.
Hybrid Functions. Your shared blood grants you the best of both worlds. You gain the racial traits of one other Race of your choice, not including their scores, speed, size, age or subrace traits.
Shared Knowledge. You are a hybrid, and it is very noticeable by your vast knowledge on multiple areas. You count as both a Dwarf and your other race for all purposes.
