Spooks[edit]
You spooked the daylights outta me! Sorry for the mess, I don't know how I left those pages for my Nature Attuned Shapeshift feat still open, I thought I deleted them myself. --Supersmily5 (talk) 07:21, 5 August 2018 (MDT)
Question on Page[edit]
Hi Friend, I made a race and I would like it to be shared, Living Metal (5e Race) I am not sure what to do or how to go about it since I am very new and barely know anything if you could please help I would much appreciate it. (If for some reason the link isn't working so you can just search up Living Metal) --WillIam (talk) 10:46, 24 May 2018 (MDT)Dragonblood
- You can redistribute your race as long as you follow D&D Wiki:Copyrights. SirSprinkles (talk) 16:08, 24 May 2018 (MDT)
Request for Page Deletion[edit]
Good day, sir. I was wondering if I could request for the deletion of a page I created, Infernal Bloodline (5e Subclass), as I've reworked it and have since merged it with the Abyssal Bloodline to form the Fiendish Bloodline (5e Subclass). Thanks! —Fermat (talk) 19:21, 28 February 2018 (MST)
good day sir i was wondering if i could request a deletion of a class i created Songstress since i need to re make it from scratch and can i request help with it i am a new person on here.
Questions about your Old School Fencer class![edit]
I really like the concept, but I don't quite understand the "Attrition" skill (At 7th level, you gain progressive bonuses to damage for each consecutive attack you land, up to three time. At 14th level, the bonuses stack up to five times.) , and the "Mortal Strikes" skill (From 10th level onwards, once per round you can make an Intelligence check (investigation) with a DC equal to the AC of an enemy, if you succeed, you can add a number of that creature's hit dice equal to the current stacking of Attririton to the damage of an attack made against that same enemy.).
- I was not the original creator of that class. That doesn't make your points any less valid, however, and you are free to raise them on the talk page if you so wish. SirSprinkles (talk) 17:39, 18 February 2018 (MST)
Halp, I need a page name changed[edit]
Hello again, SS5 with a typo that needs fixed. Is there any way to change page names after making an item as a user, or is it only possible for admins like yourself? (The page in question is Hearache Locket (5e Equipment) which is supposed to be spelled Heartache Locket) --Supersmily5 (talk) 22:20, 21 October 2017 (MDT)
- Next to the "History" tab at the top of the screen, you should find the "Move" tab. Click on that tab and you can use it to rename pages, though some pages can only be moved by admins. SirSprinkles (talk) 23:53, 21 October 2017 (MDT)
Ah, I see. Thank you again friend. --Supersmily5 (talk) 08:17, 22 October 2017 (MDT)
Linking Page Questions[edit]
Hello, SS5 here, I need to know how to link homebrew pages to each other. Can you help me with that? Is it the same as linking SRD pages or is there a different bit of coding for it? --Supersmily5 (talk) 18:36, 27 September 2017 (MDT)
- To create a link from one page to another on this wiki, simply place the desired page name in square brackets. For example, [[5e SRD:Fireball]] becomes 5e SRD:Fireball. By placing a vertical bar or "|" after the page name to create a link that doesn't necessarily use the page title as a link (5e SRD:Fireball doesn't gel well with standard writing, after all) and you can use italics and the like to create [[5e SRD:Fireball|''fireball'']], resulting in fireball. The same applies to pages that aren't in the SRD, like 5e Creatures. SirSprinkles (talk) 18:43, 27 September 2017 (MDT)
Okay thanks! I've copy pasted this comment to a notepad doc so you don't have to keep this section here if you don't want to. --Supersmily5 (talk) 19:22, 27 September 2017 (MDT)
Changes I've made[edit]
I'm new to creating anything for D&D, I have always been interested in the concept of the "Blade Dancer," I was so happy when I discover the Ranger Archetype " Blade Dancer. I noticed your comment on the discussion page, so I took the liberty of reworking the Blade Dancer Archetype to match what you suggested as well as a few of my own quirks. If your up for it could you review it and help me create it?? (It looks like the page was abandoned)-- User:Guilty_Heart (9-7-17)
- Is there anything in particular that you are unsure of? SirSprinkles (talk) 22:47, 7 September 2017 (MDT)
- Im still new to D&D so I was just looking to see if you could go over all of it, give me some tips. You seem to be very good at these kinds of things, soI I thought I would ask...--Guilty Heart (talk) 06:51, 8 September 2017 (MDT)
About 5e SRD[edit]
Good day to you, sir. I was creating sorcerer bloodlines and noticed that a lot of 5e spells haven't been added to SRD. As I'm a bit OC, I'm not comfortable seeing red links. Are we allowed to create SRD pages or are those exclusively under your control? If the former, are we limited to PHB spells, or are EE and SCAG spells allowed?
In addition, I noticed you creating links for terms such as conditions, advantage, disadvantage, etc. Should I link those whenever they appear, or would linking them at the first instance they appear be sufficient?
Thanks in advance!
—Fermat (talk) 17:05, 27 September 2017 (MDT)
- There's nothing stopping you from using spells that aren't in the SRD, but those that aren't in the SRD shouldn't have pages here for legal reasons. As for your other question, I link those wherever they appear, but you don't have to if you don't want to. SirSprinkles (talk) 18:28, 27 September 2017 (MDT)
- If you want to reference spells that aren't in the SRD, you could do something like I did for the manakete, where I used a design note and didn't make the non-SRD spells red links. — Geodude671 (talk | contribs | email) . . 18:51, 27 September 2017 (MDT)
Fire Emblem Creatures[edit]
Would you mind terribly if I took over the pages Archer (5e Creature) and Great Knight (5e Creature) for use in my campaign setting? If you want to keep using the Great Knight as an example for the Master template, maybe it could be renamed to "Master Knight" so I could use the name Great Knight for an enemy class? I suppose I could use the name Master Knight, but in FE the Master Knight class is very different fluff-wise from the Great Knight class as it is Lachesis' and Leif's version of a Lord class. — Geodude671 (talk | contribs | email) . . 12:14, 2 October 2017 (MDT)
- Alright, go ahead. SirSprinkles (talk) 20:05, 2 October 2017 (MDT)
- Do you mind if I also take over Lancer (5e Creature)? — Geodude671 (talk | contribs | email) . . 11:05, 4 October 2017 (MDT)
Talk pages not moving when you move a page[edit]
Hey SirSprinkles, I was wondering why when you move certain pages like the longknife(see signature conversation) and Arcane Archer (5e Class), the talk pages did not move to the changed name?--Blobby383b (talk) 14:18, 18 October 2017 (MDT)
- It used to move both page and talk page, but it isn't doing that anymore. Perhaps we should raise this issue with User:Blue Dragon? SirSprinkles (talk) 14:21, 18 October 2017 (MDT)
- Alright, I will bring it up and link these conversation as well.--Blobby383b (talk) 14:27, 18 October 2017 (MDT)
- Hey SirSprinkles, it is Blobby383b again. Would you happen to know if the issue of talk pages not moving has fixed or not? --Blobby383b (talk) 20:53, 15 November 2017 (MST)

Exploration and Environment - Tremorsense Update[edit]
Hey, I noticed that the page 5e_SRD:Exploration_and_Environment doesn't have a link to Tremorsense like it does with 5e_SRD:Blindsight,5e_SRD:Truesight and 5e_SRD:Darkvision. GamerAim told me I should come to you about it since you are thee 5e guy and my request is if you could add it in. Thanks, ConcealedLight (talk) 03:13, 3 November 2017 (MDT)

Welcoming users[edit]
Hi SS, I've noticed how prolific you are in welcoming users (and good work, by the way! I'm sure it's making a good difference). You may already be doing this on the sly, but I can offer you the services of my bot to do it automatically. It can be configured to only welcome users who have made a certain number of contributions, it can sign the welcome message as you, or as a random user from a given pool of users, if desired, and generally whatever other options one would wish for.
I'unno, it's not a big difference, I suppose. Having a bot leave welcome messages just seems a better option than doing it by hand, if that is indeed what you are doing. Lemme know if y'are interested. --SgtLion (talk) 10:20, 6 November 2017 (MST)
- I don't know; I feel like it seems more personal if new users are welcomed by actual humans instead of some robot, even if the templated message is the same. — Geodude671 (talk | contribs | email) . . 11:40, 6 November 2017 (MST)
- For what it's worth, I have always felt that the welcoming of users is impersonal. Many times, users are welcomed before contributing, and rarely some have turned out to be spammers. I personally feel that a bot could prevent that and would be more personal for welcoming users who actually contribute, in addition to saving human time.--GamerAim (talk) 13:56, 6 November 2017 (MST)
- I don't use a bot for this task, but more than once in the past I have considered passing this task on to a bot. Maybe if we had a new welcome message that made it clear that the welcomer is the bot? SirSprinkles (talk) 15:53, 6 November 2017 (MST)

Eon the Terrible[edit]
I want to do a Roc-sized Demonic Vulture. I have MOST of the details decided but my biggest problem is that I can't decide between a breath weapon that ages the target or the ability to cast a couple of time related spells (or both). Do you have any suggestions? (I plan to use it for a demiplane called the Archapelago of Last Years.) --Redrum 17:13, 8 November 2017 (MST)
- Which spells were you thinking of? SirSprinkles (talk) 18:06, 8 November 2017 (MST)
- The main spell I'm thinking of is Time Stop. --Redrum 17:31, 15 November 2017 (MST)
- So, in theory, it uses time stop on its first turn, then gets an average of 3 turns to set up using other spells like haste (fits with the time theme) and using its movement to better position itself? Presumably, the spell can also only be cast once a day. SirSprinkles (talk) 20:22, 15 November 2017 (MST)
- That was the general idea. --Redrum 13:27, 18 November 2017 (MST)

Help Me![edit]

Glass[edit]
Forgive me for the Engineer edits I've been doing, but I'm still new to this, and finding a spot to talk to someone about this is rather difficult. I'd like to use Tavern Chatroom, but last I've checked the editing logs they've assumed me to be a monster of sorts. I wish there was a way for instant messaging between users on here, this way things can get cleared up.
And, side note, I know I'm editing your page, also apologies, but I know you can change it back. Hopefully with a response for me. I'll keep an eye out for it here. Adios for now, amigo. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Glass (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts.
- From SilverWritingPen's comment on Talk:Engineer, Variant (5e Class) I think the main issue they took was with the "dual wield" feature you added on the steam gauntlet. Looking at that page's history, I could also see them taking issue with you adding the Battlefield Dominance feature at 20th level when that class' 20th-level feature is provided through the subclass. I would recommend trying to hash this out with them, either on the class' talk page (use the "discussion" tab at the top) or on their user talk page. — Geodude (talk | contribs | email) . . 21:45, 12 November 2018 (MST)
- Thank you. I'll take it up with him personally on this. Prior to adding my thoughts and edits, the level 20 ability seemed blatantly overpowered. I thought that it could be remedied; powerful, but not broken like it was before. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Glass (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts.

Alligator[edit]
woah waah woah, crocodiles and alligators are very much not the same thing. I get that the majority can shrug off and just use a crocodile but the alligator is very useful in a variety of ways. for instance, it offers a new beast companion option to the ranger architype, beast master, and gives DMs another creature that is less dangerous to throw against their players if they need them to be a higher level for a quest, and I'm sure there's more they can be used for. If you don't find their use then don't use it, but that's no reason to delete the page. So please, I ask you re-consider. Apothose (talk) 17:42, 22 February 2019 (MST)
- The crocodile statistics can be used with little to no modification. SirSprinkles (talk) 13:17, 14 March 2019 (MDT)
