Chakra. Tsubaki has 16 chakra points which she can expend. All chakra points are regained at the end of a long rest.

Opportunity Strike. When Tsubaki makes an opportunity attack with a melee weapon, she may spend 1 chakra to gain a +1 bonus to her critical threshold or attack roll for that attack.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. Tsubaki makes 2 attacks with her unarmed strike or katana attacks.

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (2d4 + 3) bludgeoning damage.

Katana. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) slashing damage.

Samurai Sabre (4 Chakra). As a bonus action, Tsubaki may add her unarmed strike die to her katana's damage rolls for 1 minute.

Flash (2 Chakra). One creature within 5 ft. must attempt a DC 14 Strength. On a failure, they take the damage they would have taken from a hit with Tsubaki's katana. On a success, they take half as much damage.

Shadow of the Dancing Leaf (3 Chakra). As a bonus action, Tsubaki gains the ability to move across any liquid surface— such as water, acid, mud, snow, quicksand, or lava— as if it were harmless solid ground (creatures crossing molten lava can still take damage from the heat) for 1 minute. If Tsubaki casts this Jutsu while submerged in a liquid, the Jutsu carries her to the surface of the liquid at a rate of 60 feet per round. Additionally, her movement speed increases by half its total (rounded down), and attacks of opportunity against her have disadvantage.

REACTIONS

Kurogane Style: Evading Strike (3 Chakra). When a creature misses Tsubaki with an attack, she makes an opportunity attack against the attacker.

From a young age, Tsubaki was trained by Mifune himself in the Land of Iron. A talented samurai-in-training in her own right, her skills were outshined by those of Sazanka, Mifune's star pupil and her close friend. Shortly before her master's passing, during a tournament to decide who would become the next wielder of Kurosawa, as was Mifune's wishes, Sazanka and Tsubaki easily made it to the final round. However, while he held every advantage for the majority of the fight, he let his guard down mere moments before the end, which she was able to exploit to achieve victory. With his pride totally shattered, he slaughtered the rest of his classmates in a mad dash to take the sword by force, but was effortlessly stopped by fully trained samurai, though he survived and was able to flee the country. Tsubaki blamed herself for the whole ordeal. A few short years later, when Sumire was reassigned to the Scientific Ninja Weapons Team, Naruto contacted the Land of Iron in hopes of further integrating samurai into the Shinobi Union, resulting in Tsubaki joining Team 15.
