Shotgun Slugs (10) (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Rarity: Uncommon Used for more accuracy in longer-range engagements than typical shotgun shells would be capable of, slugs replace the advantage of spraying an area with multiple smaller projectiles with firing a single bulky projectile. Slugs can only be used in shotguns. While loaded with shells, a shotgun's ranges increase by half their total, and damage rolls with slugs gain a -1 penalty (minimum 1). Slugs are treated as bullets for the purposes of applying other special ammunition types, what can't usually be used for buckshot - for example, Tranquilizer Rounds, Semi-Armor Piercing Bullets, Armor Piercing Bullets, Armor Piercing Discarding Sabot Rounds, Incendiary Bullets, Explosive Bullets, Hollow Point Bullets, Match Grade Bullets, Hellsing Special Ammunition. Usually, Subsonic Bullets, Rubber Bullets, Subsonic Bullets can be applied on buckshot. |
