Rubber Bullets (10) (5e Equipment)

From D&D Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Any modern firearm which uses bullets for its ammunition can fire rubber bullets. Rubber bullets are less-lethal projectiles which can cause pain and incapacitation, but neither serious injury nor death when used correctly. They are either entirely made of rubber or plastic or are simply rubber/plastic-coated.

Rubber bullets change the damage type of a firearm attack from piercing to bludgeoning, and inflict -1 points of damage per die. A creature reduced to 0 hit points by an attack using rubber bullets falls unconscious, but is stable and at no risk of dying unless the attack was a critical hit.
