Scrollsee (5e Spell)
2nd-level divination (ritual) | |
Casting time: | 1 action |
---|---|
Range: | Self |
Components: | V, S, M (a venomous fang, a paper of parchment scroll worth at least 1 gp) |
Duration: | Concentration, up to 1 minute |
Until the spell ends, anything that you see is invisibly infused into the scroll. The first time you move at least 5 feet on each turn that you are concentrating on the spell, you must make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw to maintain concentration.
A creature that knows this spell may spend an action and a 1st level spell slot while holding the scroll to cause everything you saw when you cast the spell to appear on the surface of the scroll as a lifelike, moving image. Scrolls of lesser quality or size might obscure the finer details of this image, potentially requiring a Intelligence (Investigation) check to discern or being completely indiscernible.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the duration of the spell increases by 1 minute for each slot level above 2nd.
