Design Notes: I. This spell was adapted from the spell of the same from Stormwrack. II. You may choose to replace every mention of bludgeoning damage with Water Damage if you are going by the water damage variant rule.

the water surrounding a target suddenly takes on the terrible, bone-crushing pressure of the deepest ocean trenches. The target must make a constitution saving throw and take 4d6 bludgeoning damage on a failed save and half as much on a successful save. The area of the spell can be constrained by the available water; it has no effect on creatures or objects that are within the radius but not in the water, or on squares of water that are not at least 5 feet deep. The spell must be centered at or below the surface of the water. At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the amount of damage dealt increases by 1d6 bludgeoning damage
