Reiatsu. The hollow spend 1 Reiryoku at the beginning of its turn to release its Reiatsu until the beginning of its next turn, learning the direction from it of each creature within 30 feet and each of their proficiency bonuses. When the hollow kills a creature that would not be affected by its Reiatsu, it may consume their soul, regaining Reiryoku equal to half the creature's proficiency bonus and causing them to be unable to be resurrected by any means. |
When a hollow has killed or grievously injured one or more unseated shinigami, Soul Society gives it a moniker based on its appearance to make it easier to identify, and any information on the hollow is entered into a unified database in order to form a strategy for unseated shinigami to combat it. Alongside greater power, a named hollow's hunger is greater than an unnamed hollow's, forcing them out of Hueco Mundo to feed. |
