If Kobuna casts this Jutsu while submerged in a liquid, the Jutsu carries her to the surface of the liquid at a rate of 60 feet per round. Additionally, her movement speed increases by half its total (rounded down), and attacks of opportunity against him have disadvantage. Water Gun (1 Chakra). Ranged Spell Attack: +4 to hit, range 20 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) magical piercing damage.

Kobuna is the son of Funamushi, and the youngest member of the Funato clan's pirates. Having been raised deep within his clan's culture, he hoped to overcome the Mist Village in a way a child cheerfully hopes for an end to war. However, when his father died at the hands of Boruto and Buntan, his hope turned to hatred, bringing Gokai along with him to get revenge. While Gokai was easily defeated, Boruto couldn't lay a hand on Kobuna, recognizing the pain in his heart to be the same as Buntan held toward Funamushi. Later, during Boruto and Ikada's peace talks, it was decided that Boruto's blood would seal their ceasefire. Ikada gave the right to kill Boruto to Kobuna, but hesitated when Boruto apologized for killing Funamushi, leading to Boruto jumping into the thrashing waves below their ship himself. Conflicted on whether or not he had done the right thing, Kobuna's cries resonated within the rest of the Funato clan, joining Ikada's bid for peace. With the Great Sea Battle of the Mist Village at a close, Kobuna finally allowed himself to mourn, promising to become strong like his father, not for the sake of his clan or revenge, but to protect everyone. |
