Jagdarmee Quincy[edit]
Medium humanoid (human), lawful neutral Armor Class 15 (natural armor)
Saving Throws Dex +8, Wis +7 Quincy Reiryoku. The Quincy has 10 Reiryoku which it can expend. All Reiryoku is regained at the end of a long rest. Spiritual Awareness. While the Quincy has at least 1 Reiryoku, it can sense and interact with souls normally. Reiatsu. The Quincy spend 1 Reiryoku at the beginning of its turn to release its Reiatsu until the beginning of its next turn, learning the direction from it of each creature within 30 feet and each of their proficiency bonuses. If a detected creature's proficiency bonus is 2 or lower, they take 10 bludgeoning damage. Passive Blitzrutsche. While the Quincy's Reiatsu is released, it gains a +10 ft. bonus to its walking speed. ACTIONSUnarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 bludgeoning damage. Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) slashing damage. This weapon can be used in two-weapon fighting. Summon Bogensperling (1 Reiryoku). The Quincy the following for 4 additional Reiryoku, until it ends this effect as a bonus action or it falls unconscious:

A Jagdarmee is an intermediate-level hunting unit made up of Quincy stronger than soldat but not yet deserving of a place in the Sternritter within the Wandenreich, the imperial army of the Quincy King. Members of a Jagdarmee are responsible for eliminating or forcefully recruiting any remaining threats in the wake of Wandenreich conquest. |
Quincy Archetypes[edit]
Each Quincy is unique, though most tend to fall into a handful of classifications:
- Gemischt Jagdarmee
- Blut Arterie (1 Reiryoku). At will, the Quincy gains a +8bonus to its damage rolls until the beginning of its next turn.
- Blut Vene (1 Reiryoku). At will, any damage the Quincy takes is decreases by 8 until the beginning of its next turn.
- Blut Anhaben (5 Reiryoku). As an action, or as a bonus action for 5 additional Reiryoku, while Blut Artere or Blut Vene is active, any creatures of the Quincy's choice within a 30 ft. radius of the Quincy also gain the Blut's effects until the Blut ends.
- Dueling. The Quincy has a +2 bonus to damage rolls with its shortsword.
- Echt Jagdarmee
- Blitzrutsche (1 Reiryoku). As an action, the Quincy gains a +10 ft. bonus to its walking speed, and a +4 bonus to its AC, Strength and Dexterity saving throws, and melee attack and damage rolls until the end of its turn.
- Fliegende Rutsche (1 Reiryoku). At will while the Quincy's Reiatsu is released, it can use its walking speed to move in any direction including straight up until its Reiatsu is not released or it ends this effect at will.
- Qualkreis (3 Reiryoku). As an action for 3 Reiryoku, the Quincy creates a Medium Qualkreis anywhere within 5 ft. of it. When it makes an attack with its bogensperling, silberne bogensperling, or ranged heilig bogen, it may spend 1 Reiryoku to cause the attack to come from a Qualkreis instead of itself.
- Two-Weapon Fighting: When the Quincy engages in two-weapon fighting, it can add its ability modifier to the damage of the second attack.
- Ginto Jagdarmee
- Ginto (5 Reiryoku). The Quincy creates one ginto. A creature may consume a dose of ginto as a bonus action, regaining 5 Reiryoku. Each dose of ginto loses its power and evaporates into ambient Reishi after 48 hours.
- Heizen (4 Ginto). The Quincy chooses one point within 30 feet. Each creature in a 10 ft. wide, 30 ft. tall cube centered on the point must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, a creature takes 30 (2d6 + 23) bludgeoning damage. On a success, a creature takes half as much damage.
- Wolke (1 Ginto). As a reaction when the Quincy would take damage, the damage is decreased by 13.
- Reiatsu Strikes. While the Quincy has at least 1 Reiryoku, its unarmed strikes count as magical and deal 8 (1d4 + 6) bludgeoning damage on a hit. Additionally, the Quincy can make an unarmed strike as a bonus action, and can make two unarmed strikes as a bonus action for 1 Reiryoku.
- Letzt Stil Jagdarmee
- Puppenanzug. As a full turn action for 3 Reiryoku, which can be taken while the Quincy is incapacitated but not petrified or unconscious, it ignores the incapacitated condition, as well as the effects of any damaged body parts, not including head injuries, until it loses concentration.
- Letzt Stil. As an action, the Quincy's Reiryoku maximum increases by 8, it regains 4 Reiryoku at the end of each of its turns, and it gains a flying speed equal to its walking speed and a Vollstandig effect for 1 minute or until a critical hit is scored against it. When Letzt Stil ends, the Quincy can not regain Reiryoku until it succeeds a DC 30 Wisdom saving throw as a reaction to taking damage from a critical hit.
- Sklaverei As a bonus action while Vollstandig is active, the Quincy regains 2 Reiryoku.
- Archery. The Quincy has a +2 bonus to attack rolls with its bogensperling, silberne bogensperling, or ranged heilig bogen.
