Gerotora can add reduce this damage by an additional 6 (1d10) points per chakra point spent over the initial cost. |
The chief scroll toad of Mount Myoboku, Gerotora, often called Gamatora, contains pages upon pages of fuinjutsu formulas, though his personal skill is often called into question. Due to his position, he must be incredibly skeptical, going so far as to doubt even Jiraiya's trust in Naruto ever being able to control the Nine-Tails. Minato inscribed numerous Uzumaki clan fuinjutsu, including the Eight Trigrams Seal, into Gerotora for safe keeping, eventually summoning him to turn his son into a jinchuriki with his last breath. Later, he and Jiraiya constantly debated how much of the Nine-Tails' chakra Naruto was able to control, losing and tightening the lock to test the waters during their training. Before his fight with Pain, he entrusted Gerotora's information to Naruto, believing it to be the boy's father's will. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, while Naruto and Killer B were training together, Naruto utilized Gerotora's scroll to unseal Kurama in order to fully control his power. |
