Playing an administrative role atop Mount Myoboku due to only being a tadpole, and thus lacking the strength to be a combat summon, Gamatama watches over the great name scroll, which keeps track of every toad from the mountain. When Gamakosuke, who was entrusted to Tsunade as the toads' ambassador to the Leaf Village, had his name vanish from the scroll, he immediately spread word of the inevitable; the Akatsuki had attacked. |
