Cursed Objects[edit]

With the exception of Cursed Tools and cursed corpses, items that contain cursed energy are referred to as cursed objects. Cursed objects are ranked in the same way as cursed tools, based on the strength of the cursed energy they contain. Particularly dangerous cursed objects, such as Sukuna's fingers, are ranked special grade.

Registered Cursed Objects[edit]

The twenty individual fingers of Sukuna's original body from the Heian Era. Each one contains immense cursed energy and is capable of attracting cursed spirits as soon as they are unsealed.

While unsealed, all cursed spirits with 8 or less in their Wisdom scores within 1000 ft. of the finger will be attracted to it and will do anything they can to consume it. If a Cursed Spirit consumes the finger, it will become a finger bearer, increasing its power by astronomical levels. It's Strength, Dexterity, Constitution and Charisma scores increase by 2 per finger eaten(including their maximum), and their Cursed Energy maximum is increased by 5.

In the case of a creature that's not a construct or a Cursed Spirit that orally consumes one of these fingers, they must make a DC27 Constitution saving throw. On a failure they will die instantly and the finger is puked out of the body, completely unscarred. On a success however, the body of Ryomen Sukuna will be incarnated on the creature, making it become the new Sukuna's Vessel. The creature then makes a DC27 Wisdom saving throw, on a failure it loses complete control of it's body, it's mind and consciousness will dissipate completely as Sukuna will control the body now. It will gain the Cursed Energy, cursed techniques, of Sukuna, along with all of the creature's previous features. On a success however, the creature can resist Sukuna with it's sheer willpower. The creature will increase it's Cursed Energy maximum by 5 per finger, and will gain one level in the Jujutsu Sorcerer class in case they did not have any levels in it.

Someone who could resist Sukuna is now cursed to live a life with the king of curses in it's mind. Every time the creature rolls for initiative, they must make a DC27 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, Sukuna takes control of their body for 1 minute, and you can only redo the saving throw after the end of the minute.

For each finger the creature consumes after the first, it doesn't need to make a Constitution saving throw but it must keep making Wisdom saving throws.

Cursed Womb: Death Painting[edit]

Cursed wombs born from a pregnant woman in the Meiji Era which contain human DNA. They can incarnate when ingested by any humanoid creature, taking the form of a powerful cursed spirit with a physical body. If a humanoid type creature orally ingests this, they must immediately make a DC 23 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, they will transform into a Death Painting with a physical body, making them lose their body's control but not changing their creature type. On a success, the creature becomes a Living Vessel, their Cursed Energy maximum is increased by their proficiency bonus. Also, they gain a level in the Jujutsu Sorcerer class if they didn't have any.

Prison Realm[edit]

Prison Realm is the final remains of the Buddhist Monk Genshin. Referred to as a "taboo object", it is a living barrier so powerful that there is nothing it cannot seal. In its unused form, the cursed object appears as a cube small enough to fit in a person's hand and is wrapped in talisman constraints.

For the prison realm to take effect you must place it down on the ground, and say the command "Gate Open". Your desired target you want to seal must stay in a 15 foot-radius of it for 1 minute. After this condition is met, it will then jump at a target within 15ft. of your choice. They will be restrained and incapacitated, as a mass of flesh transfers to the target's body in a flash, ensnaring them. After that, you just need to say the command "Gate Close", reverting Prison Realm back to its small form and trapping the target indefinitely. While inside the pocket dimension of the Prison Realm, time doesn't pass and the sealed target is surrounded by dark skeletons and an ominous atmosphere. Prison Realm can not be used again unless the creature inside kills itself.

Once the Prison Realm has sealed something, the authority to open it rests with the bearer of the Front. Only with something that negates cursed techniques such as the Inverted Spear of Heaven that the prison Realm may be destroyed and therefore opened.

Cursed Object Creation[edit]

The art of creating cursed objects is both fascinating as it is mysterious.

Turning Others Into Cursed Objects[edit]

During a long rest, you can make a binding vow alongside a willing creature to turn them into a cursed object. To turn them into a cursed object you need at least one of their body parts intact and imbued with their cursed energy. At the end of the long rest, they become a cursed object of grade equal to their power.

Turning Yourself Into a Cursed Object[edit]

As a Bonus Action for 20 Cursed Energy a creature may transform part of its body into a Cursed Object.

Forcing Someone To Eat a Cursed Object[edit]

Cursed Objects can be consumed willingly, despite their obvious dangers, but creatures can also be forced to ingest a Cursed Object. As an Action, you may choose a creature within your reach and roll a Strength (Athletics) check contested by their Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check. On a success, you force them to ingest the Cursed Object. On a failure, they are able to avoid being fed the object.

Being a Cursed Object[edit]

As a cursed object, one starts to attract spirits based on their cursed energy level.

Existing as a Cursed Object

While a Cursed Object is aware of their surroundings, they cannot interact with anything. While a creature is a cursed object, their movement speed is reduced to 0 (and cannot be increased) and they are incapacitated. They are also immune to all damage (even if it would normally bypass immunities).

Cursed Object Power

A cursed object is considered more dangerous depending on its power. Look at the cursed object table below for more detail:

Semi Grade 1 15 to 16 levels in the Jujutsu Sorcerer class.
Grade 1 17 to 20 levels in the Jujutsu Sorcerer class.
Special Grade At least 20 levels in the Jujutsu Sorcerer class.
Cursed Spirit Magnet

Cursed Objects attract cursed spirits towards them depending on their power. For more information on the radius a cursed object would attract spirits, look at the table bellow:

Grade 3 All Cursed Spirits within 50 times the cursed object's level radius with an Intelligence lower than 10 will be attracted towards the cursed object and move towards it.
Semi Grade 2 All Cursed Spirits within 100 times the cursed object's level radius with an Intelligence lower than 10 will be attracted towards the cursed object and move towards it.
Grade 2 All Cursed Spirits within 200 times the cursed object's level radius with an Intelligence lower than 10 will be attracted towards the cursed object and move towards it.
Semi Grade 1 All Cursed Spirits within 400 times the cursed object's level radius with an Intelligence lower than 10 will be attracted towards the cursed object and move towards it.
Grade 1 All Cursed Spirits within 500 times the cursed object's level radius with an Intelligence lower than 10 will be attracted towards the cursed object and move towards it.
Special Grade All Cursed Spirits within 1000 times the cursed object's level radius with an Intelligence lower than 10 will be attracted towards the cursed object and move towards it.

If the cursed object is sealed through the use of talismans, it cannot attract cursed spirits.

Consuming a Cursed Object

When a cursed object is consumed, there are multiple outcomes that can occur that depend on one's race.

Cursed Spirit. If a cursed spirit consumes a cursed object, its power is massively increased. They gain benefits based on the grade of the cursed object eaten, as shown in the table:

Grade 3 The cursed spirit gains a +2 to their Charisma score (including their maximums). Their cursed energy maximum is also increased by 1/9 (rounded up) of the total cursed energy maximum of the object.
Semi Grade 2 The cursed spirit gains a +1 to their Strength or Dexterity score, and a +2 to their Charisma score (including their maximums). Their cursed energy maximum is also increased by 1/8 (rounded up) of the total cursed energy maximum of the object.
Grade 2 The cursed spirit gains a +1 to their Strength, Dexterity and Constitution scores, and a +2 to their Charisma score (including their maximums). Their cursed energy maximum is also increased by 1/7 (rounded up) of the total cursed energy maximum of the object.
Semi Grade 1 The cursed spirit gains a +2 to their Strength, Dexterity and Constitution scores, and a +3 to their Charisma score (including their maximums). Their cursed energy maximum is also increased by 1/6 (rounded up) of the total cursed energy maximum of the object.
Grade 1 The cursed spirit gains a +3 to their Strength, Dexterity and Constitution scores, and a +4 to their Charisma score (including their maximums). Their cursed energy maximum is also increased by 1/5 (rounded up) of the total cursed energy maximum of the object.
Special Grade The cursed spirit gains a +4 to their Strength, Dexterity, Constitution and Charisma scores (including their maximums). Their cursed energy maximum is also increased by 1/4 (rounded up) of the total cursed energy maximum of the object.

A cursed spirit cannot gain more than a +10 in their scores through consuming cursed objects, however they can still increase their cursed energy. Once the spirit with the cursed object is killed, the cursed object is dropped intact within the nearest unoccupied space of the spirit's death.

Other Creatures. If a creature consumes an object, they have the chance of becoming its new vessel. After consuming a cursed object, the creature must make a Constitution saving throw against the object's cursed energy dc. On a failure, they are reduced to 0 hit points and are killed outright. On a success, they become the object's new vessel.

After becoming a vessel, they must make a Wisdom saving throw against the object's cursed energy dc. On a failure, they lose all of their free will and the power to control their body, turning into a incomplete vessel. On a success, they resist the possession, becoming a living vessel. If they fail by 5 or more, they turn into a complete vessel instead.

If a cursed object chooses, they can (no action required) choose to not force the creature to make any type of saving throw. After the creature consumes said object, they become a symbiotic vessel. As a symbiotic vessel, a cursed object cannot possess their host.

After at least one year has passed, the vessel gains the cursed technique of the object if it has one. Cursed Objects may choose to speed up the process in which their technique is etched into the brain of the Vessel, letting them access their technique sooner than this.

Possessing a Body

When a cursed object possesses a body through being consumed or other methods, it gains total control of said body and its powers. While inside the body, the cursed object gains the following benefits:

  • Their Strength, Dexterity, Constitution scores become that of the current body, however they are increased by the cursed object's Charisma modifier to a maximum of the object’s original body’s score for that stat.
  • They will gain all of their features, racial or class features wise. (Not counting features such as ability score improvement or extra attack that are increases to the attack action itself or ability score boosts instead of abilities.)
  • Their cursed energy maximum increases by the vessel's cursed energy maximum.
  • They gain all the feats their vessel had.
