Bygone Nations (Grisaire Supplement)
Throughout history, many nations have risen and fallen. Some joined to become new nations. The record of those gone are written here.
Äschon[edit]
Modern day Aerzale. After being freed from the Premier Empire, it sought to catch up to the world technology and sought to go beyond as well. This pushed their foray into air travel, as the Premier forces were largely versed on land and water. Amid their Industrial Reformation, they changed their nation's name to Aerzale.
Cijel[edit]
An ancient city-state, Cijel was a massive territory from where the cijelese originate. It spanned the borders of modern day Zesh and Igribus. The state's main center was around one of the sacred trees, Hovarn. However, during the March of Gears, the city-state was one of the early casualties. To prevent The Premier Force Empire from utilizing the weapon properties of Hovarn, the cijelese destroyed the sacred tree as they fled and Cijel burned to the ground. The cijelese subsequently fled to the Doru Islands and recreated Cijel as best they could in a new home.
The Premier Force Empire[edit]
Established officially in 9,499 AP, the Premier Force came to be known as one of the most famous alliances in the history of Grisaire. The Tasnen-Eskain Commonwealth signed an alliance treaty with Morkan, uniting the entire west coast of the Endix continent. Morkan's expertise in chemical innovation, combined with the technological prowess of steam energy from Tasnen-Erksain created a powerful synergy that almost allowed the Premier Force to take over the entire continent. This alliance was known for being brutal in its sieges and absolutely ruthless towards enemies. Without a shred of mercy, their forces would attack civilians and raze entire towns to the ground. They had no qualms using inhumane weaponry and chemicals tat horribly scarred and killed victims in the worse ways possible.
To fuel their conquest, known as the March of Gears, the Premier Force would kidnap civilians from invaded countries and turn them into lab rats. It is said the extent to which the victims were experimented on is unknown, as many of the records were destroyed towards the decline of the empire. They would allegedly brainwash victims and augment their bodies to make them into bionic monster soldiers. There were also experiments in taboo subjects like manipulating the dead through the means of technology, as well as dark alchemic arts that created horrible new chimeras.
The empire's winning streak eventually ended with the rise of the Crescent Chance Alliance. As the stretch of a large empire began to take its toll, the conquered nation of Hagai engaged in a fierce guerilla campaign that forced the empire back onto the continent. The bloody war eventually ended the March of Gears ambition at the Battle of Bristlebone, when the empire was stretched to its final limit and surrendered. They signed a treaty with the Crescent Chance Alliance to disband and forfeit much of their territories. This left them with a good portion of the continent still, which was primarily original Tasnen territory. This comes to be modern day Premius.

The Crescent Chance Alliance[edit]
While not technically a nation, this Alliance played a vital role in ending the March of Gears. Following the dismantling of the Premier Force, the Alliance's members were the first to create a new international governmental league that would watch over affairs involving more than one nation, which would then grow to include other countries.
Kharim Caliphate[edit]
This massive empire spanned nearly all of the eastern coast of the Endixian continent and was the combination of modern-day Edim and Kalim. This empire was one of the members of The Crescent Chance Alliance. Following tumultuous leadership post-March of Gears that eventually split their ruling caucus in twain, civil wars that lasted from 9,654 to 9,958 AP flared up in bloody fighting up and down the coast. This ultimately ended up with a series of treaties between the newly formed nations of Edim and Kalim recognizing each other as separate entities, as well as with their neighbors.

Shadrin Sultanate[edit]
This legendary sultanate was one of the first empires coming out of the Days of the Forge. It lasted from 2,998 AP to 3,321 AP, eventually being defeated and dismembered. The sultanate's reaches were vast, stretching from Khaire to Zesh and spanning all the
