On Popstar, astrology is not as fantastical as it is in other realms. In other realms, they are usually technologically or magically inept to even explore the outer reaches of the Inner Realms. Even realms that specialize in the far reaches are not as impressive as Popstar. To Popstar, astrology is gauging how long it will take to get to your next-door neighbor's home. The citizens of Planet Popstar often use teleportation, portals, or high-speed vehicles called Air Machines to travel from planetoid to planetoid in a manner of seconds. There have even been individuals or objects powerful enough to access separate dimensions on a casual level.

Inner Realms[edit]

Prime Inner Realm[edit]

Earth[edit]

Apparently, there is a planet called Earth in this realm. However, the planet is so far away from planetoids like Popstar that it would be invisible to Popstar's population.

Planet Popstar[edit]

Planet Popstar, sometimes referred to as the "World of Miracles", is a distant planet shaped like a yellow five-pointed star, typically crossed by two white planetary rings. Said to be located in Gamble Galaxy, it is both a heliocentric and geocentric planet (a star that revolves around a planet that revolves around a star), and it orbits a singularity. Popstar is considered by some to be a "backwater planet". Some invaders often question why such powerful beings would live on such a remote planet. Despite its coloration from space, Popstar's atmosphere is remarkably Earth-like from the surface, with blue oceans and landmasses similar to Earth's, as well as a wide range of climates supporting a bountiful array of life. It is often assumed that a certain gas in the planet's atmosphere reflects (or gives off) a yellow hue to make it appear the way it does from space. Popstar's surface is often described as being divided up into a series of star-shaped islands, large and small. The most notable area on Planet Popstar is Dream Land, a kingdom that serves as the home of many famed inhabitants, though how much of the planet this territory takes up is unclear. The second most notable is Floralia, which inhabits the skies of Pop Star.

Dream Land[edit]

Dream Land is a country on Planet Popstar. Dream Land is portrayed as a peaceful country with a carefree populace and abundant resources. Dream Land features a wide array of landscapes and inhabitants. Its planet has wealth of natural resources, having clean air and fresh water. Dream Land's demographics indicate that the Waddle Dee race makes up the majority of the area's population. Besides the Waddle Dees, many other species live and thrive in Dream Land as well. The majority of the inhabitants and citizens are peaceful and carefree, however, some of its inhabitants can be rather dangerous and violent. The country is under the rule of a monarch, who really has no interest in actually ruling. The monarchy holds little authority, so the inhabitants continue living as they have always been.

There is no explicit monetary system in use throughout Dream Land, especially when the inhabitants are mostly self-sufficient and locate their own food using the assistance of certain items. While there is proof that a monetary system was used in the past, one revolving around the use of gold, the value of 1 gold coin was not treated very highly, being treated like how Earthlings would use pennies.

There are many locations in Dream Land, usually all divided into certain specific areas: The tundras of Iceberg—housing the Rainbow Resort; The desert that is Sky Sands—housing the Raisin Ruins. The plains of Green Greens—housing the Green Gardens, Purple Plantlands, Grass Land, Peanut Plains—housing the Mallow Castle, Fantasy Meadows, Prism Plains, and Cookie Country; the barren forest that houses Butter Building, as well as the forests of the Deep Grape Forest, The Big Forest, Jam Jungle, and Fruity Forest; The hills of Donut Dome, accompanied by the cliffs of Pumpkin Grand; The mountains of Mt. Dedede, Cloudy Park, Candy Mountain—housing Cocoa Cave and Dyna Blade's Nest, Corn Hall, and Cushy Clouds, as well as the mountainous coastline of Yogurt Yard; the volcanoes of Magma Flows and Vocal Volcano; the ice mountains of White Wafers; The valleys of Vegetable Valley, Red Sand Canyon, and Celestial Valley; the coasts of Checker Knights; the Ripple Fields lake, as well as the expansive waters of Orange Ocean—housing the Secret Sea, and Onion Ocean. The country of Dream Land owns many islands, including the Float Islands—housing Castle Lololo, Illusion Islands, Ice Cream Island, Rainbow Islands—housing the Dark Castle, Ice Island—housing Frozen Hillside, the diverse Popopo Islands. There is also a remote observation tower called the Nutty Noon.

Dream Land also houses expansive cave systems, which include the Great Cave—housing the Great Cave Garden, Great Cave Sub-Tree Jungle, Great Cave Crystal Lake, and Great Cave Old Tower; There also exists Nature Notch and Donut Dome.

Floralia[edit]

Floralia is an archipelago of floating islands above Dream Land. Many vibrant and strange things grow in Floralia, the most notable of them being the Miracle Fruit, a unique plant that grows almost instantaneously and, when eaten, enhances the user's main abilities.

Floralia is said to possess the Amazing Mirror, the artifact that is used as an entrance to the Mirror World.

There are many floating locations in the skies of Dream Land, and they are usually all divided into certain specific areas: The upper tundra skies that house the Fountain of Dreams, the skies above the Deep Grape Forest that is the Grape Gardens, as well as Beanstalk Park; The skies around Mt. Dedede, guarded by the "Lady of the Sky"; the Bubbly Clouds—housing the Onion Gardens and Tempest Towers, as well as the nearby Crash Clouds. Floating high above Popstar in space is the floating island of Necro Nebula. Floralia is also in possession of the land of Blockworld, formerly owned by the monarchy of Dream Land.

Patch Land[edit]

Patch Land is a planet within viewing distance of Planet Popstar. This planet is home to creatures made of yarn and cloth. As such, many of these creatures are considered constructs. Patch Land also seems to possess creatures that are visually similar to creatures on Popstar.

Seventopia[edit]

Seventopia is a collection of seven dwarf planetoids that are inseparable. Created by a pair of magical artists who can manipulate the world as if it were a sculpture or painting, They leave a rainbow-colored streak as they orbit their star.

Alternate Inner Realms[edit]

Mirror World[edit]

This location takes the place of D&D's Plane of Mirrors. The Mirror World is the land opposite of Dream Land, with its access point, the Dimension Mirror, located high in the skies above Dream Land. It is under the strict care of the Floralian royalty.

Another Dimension[edit]

Another Dimension is an alternate dimension different than that of Popstar's. The only way to access and exit Another Dimension is through portals known as dimensional rifts, which appear in various places when the fabric of spacetime has broken down, or when they are opened by powerful beings or objects. Another Dimension is portrayed as a strange and mysterious world, as while it mostly consists of nothing but space, it also has some places that would be seen in Planet Popstar's home dimension, such as grasslands, beaches, forests, towers, and even alternate versions of important landmarks of Planet Popstar. It is seen that some areas in Another Dimension have what appears to be a colored sky, clouds, and even a sun. Another Dimension also seems to contain planets.

Halcandra[edit]

Halcandra is a unique planet located in Another Dimension. Its terrain is generally volcanic with many mechanical facilities and very few plants. The plants it does have look almost mechanical. The civilization that existed on Halcandra is known only as "The Ancients". They are said to have created many legendary treasures and left a four-headed dragon to protect their valuables. These valuables included an interdimensional airship with a mind of its own, clockwork stars that soared through the cosmos granting wishes, mysterious items that can bring dreams to life, and countless other legendary creations.
