Fire Bender, Variant Edits[edit]
I've noticed that you've made a few changes to my Fire Bender, Variant class. I have to say that I don't agree with these edits. I believe they make the class too powerful. Making Fiery Blows a free action rather than a bonus action would be similar to allowing a Monk to use Flurry of Blows as a free action. This gives the class way too much action economy, allowing them to do more things in one turn than any other class. Increasing the starting Advanced and Basic technique count to 5 and 4, respectively, gives the class access to more spells and cantrips than any full casting class like Wizards, Sorcerers, Clerics, etc, have at level 1. This class shouldn't really come close to rivaling full casters when it comes to spell count, much less surpassing them, since this class has several other features to support the class, whereas the full casting classes tend to have only a handful of features beyond their spells. Lastly, I set this class to use Charisma rather than Strength for the Bending Attack Bonus, Save DC, and Powerful Defense due to how fire bending is described within the show. Uncle Iroh explicitly states that the power in fire bending "comes from the breath, not the muscles." It's also stated later in the show that fire benders need to have some sort of drive to fuel their fire. This, to me, feels like Charisma would be the best ability score to tie to the Bending Attack Bonus and Save DC. If you can convince that the edits you made make more sense than my version of the class, I'll be happy to keep the edits that you made. WiserVisor (talk) 17:36, 3 February 2021
Why?[edit]
Why do you keep uploading gifs and making pointless pages? This is a really easy way to get warned if you keep it up, y’know. --SwankyPants (talk) 13:15, 26 February 2021 (MST)
