Jesus Christ[edit]
Why is this thing so strong? Why do you keep making it stronger? This is in no way shape or form a playable or balanced magic item, let alone fit for play. --SwankyPants (talk) 18:23, 28 November 2020 (MST)
Uninspired Design[edit]
I don't get why this item exists in its current form. It's clearly an off-brand Iron Man power fantasy, and the way it achieves that isn't innovative at all: All it does is bundle together a bunch of unrelated and overpowered abilities that don't do anything more interesting than a) copying powers from better-balanced items, or b) giving you stupidly high boosts to your numerical stats. I Think its fixed.[edit]
Hello, I'm the creator of the armor piece and yes I do reconize the overpowered nature of the armor. I just thougth It might be fun to upload it in this form because I did find other over powered items. Maybe I sould have put april Fools! tag on as well.
I think I fixed it to be just powerful space suit. I wish you like the chages.Novum (talk) 16:14, 29 November 2020
- It's certainly much better, but it's still incredibly strong. A +4 in three different stats is nothing to sneeze at. Thank you for cutting down on its absurdity, we try to keep things relatively balanced on the wiki. While it is true that there are overpowered items, races, classes, et cetera on this wiki, those pages do not reflect the intent and theme of the wiki as a whole, and if you see them, you are encouraged to add some form of balance template, examples of which can be seen at Help:Improving, Reviewing, and Removing Templates. That aside, welcome to the D&D Wiki, and we hope to see more of you in the future. --Nuke The Earth (talk) 05:42, 29 November 2020 (MST)
- Thanks for the comment I will try to balace anything else from now on. And I am pretty sure that I only gave +4 to only strength now so it will mostly be quite balance for a 20 level campaign :) Novum (talk) 21:54, 29 November 2020
- Right, that does seem to be the case. My bad for missing it on the initial pass. I'd still recommend putting a design disclaimer template up on it, but it should be mostly alright now. --Nuke The Earth (talk) 08:56, 29 November 2020 (MST)
- Still 18+dex
