Gunlancer[edit]
Hi, I saw you edited the Gunlancer class in a rather extreme way. Please make sure that any edits that change a page’s meaning a significant way are discussed in the talk page of that page. See constructive editing. If you would like to dispute the mechanics of the page, please do so in the talk page before jumping right ahead and editing. Thank you! ━Kanon ⊕ Talk 15:24, 30 July 2020 (MDT)
My problem is that the weapon proficiencies are more restrictive than those of the wizard. Someone404 (talk) 18:56, 30 July 2020 (MDT)
Alright: I had the idea of adding some additional things like pikes, spears, javelins, etc. but I thought that that wouldn’t work very well as this entire class is focused around lances and blowguns, so there wouldn’t be very many things that go hand and hand with it, I suppose it could hurt though. And what, maybe firearm proficiency, as this class is kind of a bridge between firearms and lances. The problem there would be that the fifth level feature of the Gunner Subclass gives firearm proficiency. Maybe we could change it so that it just makes firearms more effective or easier to craft or something? What do you think?

The fact that the only weapon proficiencies are the weapons of choice means that this class is a bit overspecialized. And we have enough firearm classes as it is. Someone404 (talk) 09:53, 31 July 2020 (MDT)
I’m not sure that I quite understand what you’re thinking. I suppose you can use other weapons, but the entire purpose of this class is for a specialized play style that utilizes ranged and melee weaponry while supporting a high defense. What you’re implying is a rewrite of the class’s mechanics, and if you would like to rewrite the class, you can make a new page that is called “Gunlancer, Variant (5e Class).” And I know what you mean when you say that there are enough firearm classes, but this is one of them, just with a little extra fantasy flavor. They’re called gunlances after all. ━Kanon ⊕ Talk 10:01, 31 July 2020 (MDT)
Oh Someone404 (talk) 10:32, 31 July 2020 (MDT)
I understand your argument now Someone404 (talk) 15:54, 31 July 2020 (MDT)
Oh, okay, I see. Glad we could work this out! ━Kanon ⊕ Talk
Starformed[edit]
Hey sorry to make this page look wierd, but I changed the Starformed race. Is this better? Sylvari Mesmer (talk) 12:38, 30 November 2020 (MST)
I appreciate your effort, but you really need to check out the 5e Race Design Guideline and use the preload. Thanks! Someone404 (talk) 14:16, 30 November 2020 (MST)
I don't know what to do anymore I just can't think of anything to improve! Sylvari Mesmer (talk) 15:24, 30 November 2020 (MST)
The Musicus Meter and Marasmusine Meter are good things to look at. We're really worried about the balancing more than anything. Someone404 (talk) 17:06, 30 November 2020 (MST)
