Power Beam[edit]
Hello, what is the philosophy behind keeping power beam at 1d8, 1d8+Spellcasting Modifier at 5th level, 2d8+SCM at 11th and 3d8+SCM at 17th level? Opting to go for the Spellcasting modifier makes this already average damaging cantrip less effective and versatile when combined with other feats/effects. It increases average damage slightly but prevents any feature/effect that would add your spellcasting modifier from benefiting this spell as it is already being added. This feels restrictive in a way that does not create more depth of choice, to me at least.
