Skill Trees (The Elder Scrolls Supplement)
From D&D Wiki
Intro[edit]
Instead of having classes which provide abilities, like in DND, in the Elder Scrolls campaign setting will have skill trees. These trees will provide characters passives and abilities based on certain styles of play. Whenever a character gains experience, they will gain an equal amount of skill experience which will be equally distributed among combat skills and passive skills of the players choice. The player can choose as many skills to level as they want, but have to choose at least two combat skills and one passive skill. For example if a player were to gain 500 experience and wanted to level one handed, light armor, sneak, and speech, 125 skill experience would go to each skill tree.
Skill Trees are associated with a certain ability score as shown with each Skill Tree
