5th-level Conjuration | |
Casting time: | 1 action |
---|---|
Range: | Self |
Components: | V, S, M (Any slashing weapon) |
Duration: | 1 minute |
Gathering an immense amount of power, you manifest your own spirit of battle, taking the shape of Shiva, the God of Destruction, granting you the following benefits for the duration.
- You may make a number of weapon attacks equal to your Strength or Dexterity Modifier -1 (minimum of two attacks) when you take the attack action using your manifestation. They will be considered melee spell attacks and deal 2d8 + either your Strength or Dexterity Modifier Magical Slashing damage on hit with the Reach property.
- You gain advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) skill checks.
- You gain resistance to Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing damage.
- Your Armor Class increases by 2 for the duration.
- You gain 20 Temporary Hitpoints.
Finally, once the spell ends, your avatar coalesces with your blade for one devastating swing. You may make one final melee spell attack against a single target within 5ft of you. On a hit, this attack will deal 4d8 Magical Slashing and 4d8 Force damage and remove any ongoing concentration spells, magical effects, and class features on the creature. This attack is considered magical for the purpose of bypassing resistance and immunities. You may end this spell at any time on your turn using an action. After your final attack has been used, you immediately gain two levels of exhaustion.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, you gain an extra 10 temporary hit points for each spell level above fifth. Additionally, when you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th or 8th level, your manifestation's attacks now deal a d6 on a hit and increase the final attack damage upon the spell ending by an additional d8 slashing and Force damage. If cast using a 9th-level spell slot, your manifestation's attack now deals a d8 and further increase the final attack damage upon the spell's end by another d8 Slashing and Force damage.
