From D&D Wiki
Ryuki[edit]
Medium humanoid (Human), lawful evil Armor Class 17 (Natural Armor)
Saving Throws Dex +7, Cha +5 Chakra. Ryuki has 24 chakra points which he can expend. All chakra points are regained at the end of a long rest. Evasion. When Ryuki is targeted by an effect that allows him to make a Dexterity saving throw to take half damage on a success, he takes no damage on a success and half damage on a failure. Afterglow. Once per turn when Ryuki has advantage on any one attack roll, or if a creature has disadvantage on a saving throw he inflicts on them, he may deal an additional 11 (3d6) damage. Terrifying. While frightened of Ryuki by any means, creatures must attempt a DC 16 Charisma saving throw at the beginning of each of their turns. On a failure, they must make 1 attack of their choice against themself. This does not consume their action. Ninja Speed. Ryuki can take the dash, dodge, and disengage actions as a bonus action, and can move along vertical surfaces. ACTIONSMultiattack. Ryuki can make 3 unarmed strike, triple-bladed scythe, one-handed spear, two-handed spear, or kunai attacks. Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (3d4 + 3) magical bludgeoning damage. Kunai. Thrown Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 30/90 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage. Ryuki may spend up to 3 chakra when he takes this action, making one additional attack per chakra point spent. Each additional kunai deals 3 (1d4 + 1) piercing damage on a hit. Triple-Bladed Scythe. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (2d4 + 3) slashing damage. Ryuki may make an attack using this weapon with a reach of 30 ft., but must reclaim it as a bonus action to make attacks with it again. Ryuki may make one of these attacks as a bonus action after making an attack with his one-handed spear. One-Handed Spear. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage. Ryuki may make one of these attacks as a bonus action after making an attack with his triple-bladed scythe. Two-Handed Spear. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage. Killing Intent. Any creatures of Ryuki's choice that can see or hear him must succeed a DC 11 Charisma saving throw or become frightened of him for 1 minute. Ryuki may do this once, regaining all uses at the end of a long rest. Ryuki may spend chakra when a creature makes this saving throw to grant them an equal penalty for that saving throw. Attack of the Demon Blade (4 Chakra). As part of an attack with a weapon Ryuki is proficient with against a restrained creature, he deals maximum damage and an additional 11 damage, and the target is no longer restrained. Dragon Tail Foot (3 Chakra). Melee Spell Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (3d4 + 4) magical bludgeoning damage and the target is forced 15 feet away from Ryuki. This can be used as a bonus action immediately after damaging a creature with an attack with a weapon Ryuki is proficient with. Flying Revolving Sword (2 Chakra). When Ryuki makes a melee weapon attack, it becomes a thrown attack with a range of 60 feet. If the weapon is two-handed and an object is targeted, the blade is planted firmly into its side, and creatures with the Path of the Assassin or a passive Acrobatics of 19 or higher may stand on the blade as if it were normal terrain. Leaf Great Flash (10 Chakra). Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: The target moves 30 ft. in a direction of Ryuki's choice. Shadow of the Dancing Leaf (3 Chakra). As a bonus action, Ryuki gains the ability to move across any liquid surface— such as water, acid, mud, snow, quicksand, or lava— as if it were harmless solid ground (creatures crossing molten lava can still take damage from the heat) for 1 minute. If he casts this Jutsu while submerged in a liquid, the Jutsu carries him to the surface of the liquid at a rate of 60 feet per round. Additionally, his movement speed increases by half its total (rounded down), and attacks of opportunity against him have disadvantage. Leaf Gust (8 Chakra). Ryuki makes an unarmed strike against every creature within 5 ft.. Jashin Ritual. Ryuki creates a 10 ft. radius symbol beneath himself. Curse Technique: Death Controlling Possessed Blood (5 Chakra). As a bonus action while within a Jashin Ritual symbol on the same turn as dealing damage to a creature using a melee attack, Ryuki consumes their blood. This does not work against Constructs or Undead. For 1 minute, any damage dealt to Ryuki deals equal damage to the creature whose blood he consumed. Exiting the Jashin Ritual symbol ends the jutsu. Curse Technique: Body Controlling Manipulated Blood (5 Chakra). While Curse Technique: Death Controlling Possessed Blood is active, Ryuki binds the ritual's power to one object that entirety fits within the symbol. Damage dealt to Ryuki no longer damages the creature, but damage to the object does. As a reaction when he takes damage, he may force the effect to also target the creature tied to the ritual. REACTIONSSubstitution (3+ Chakra). When Ryuki is hit by an attack and would take damage, he decreases the damage by 17 (1d10 + 12) and teleports up to 15 ft. in any direction to an unoccupied space, during which he takes the Hide action. A generic object is left in his place and he takes any remaining damage from that attack. Ryuki can reduce this damage by an additional 6 (1d10) points per chakra point spent over the initial cost. |
Ryuki was one of Jashin's greatest followers. After the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, he detested the peaceful state of the world. To achieve a return to war and death, he began a plot within the Steam Village to gather women visiting the village to find peace or purpose in order to sacrifice them to achieve the same immortality as Hidan, his idol. However, the disappearances brought the attention of the Hidden Leaf Village. When Mirai Sarutobi, the daughter of the last man Hidan killed and the result of his own defeat, infiltrated his organization and revealed the true nature of his cult, he and his minions attacked her. While Kakashi and Guy, whom she was meant to only escort in their own more-subtle investigation, held off the thugs, Ryuki and Mirai battled in his ritual chamber. However, when he activated his Curse Technique, he believed his victory was unavoidable, only to be duped by simple genjutsu and mineral water from the springs above them. In shock, he was quickly defeated, and his cult was turned over to the Land of Hot Water authorities. |
