Casting time: | 1 action |
---|---|
Range: | 360 feet |
Components: | V, S |
Duration: | Concentration, up to 1 minute |
Up to three pillars of fire erupt in locations you choose. Each pillar is a 10-foot-radius, 50-foot-high cylinder centered on a point on the ground within range; the pillars cannot be placed directly on top of one another, but can overlap. When you cast this spell and at the start of each of your turns for the duration, each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 4d10 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
The fire damages objects in the area and ignites flammable objects that aren’t being worn or carried. If you choose, plant life in the area is unaffected by this spell.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, you can create one additional pillar for each slot level above 5th.
