These two puppets are among the most lifelike puppets yet-created. Constructed by a young Sasori after the appearance of his parents following their deaths at the hands of Sakumo Hatake after his grandmother Chiyo introduced him to the art of puppet crafting, these two puppets were intended to give him the warmth he so solemnly needed, but only plunged him deeper into loneliness. After joining the Akatsuki, he left them in the Hidden Sand Village due to their limited combat capabilities. Having been modified by Chiyo shortly after, they became the final nail in his coffin during their fight, allowing them to pierce his hidden heart. With the three generations of puppetmaster dead, they were passed onto Kankuro. |
