Mind Swap (5e Spell)
From D&D Wiki
6th-level Enchantment | |
Casting time: | 1 action |
---|---|
Range: | Touch |
Components: | V, S |
Duration: | 1 minute |
You swap the minds of two creatures you are touching between bodies. You may target yourself. An unwilling creature must make a Wisdom saving throw to prevent the effects. Targeting an unconscious creature will awaken it.
Intelligence and Wisdom, as well as alignment and personality, are retained across the swap. After swapping, both creatures must make an Intelligence saving throw with a DC of 16. If a creature is swapped into a drastically different form, it has disadvantage on this saving throw. On a failed save, the creature falls prone and drops anything it is holding.
The swap lasts until the spell ends. At the end of each of its turns, a conscious affected target can repeat the Wisdom saving throw, ending the spell on a success. The spell automatically ends if the distance between targets is more than 100 feet.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a 7th-level spell slot or higher, the maximum duration and distance are doubled for every slot level above 6th.
