You become wreathed in magical flame-like energy whose color matches that of your eyes, and you channel all of it into one blast. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 2d12 force damage, and you suffer half of the total damage dealt. This damage cannot reduce you to 0 hit points.

At Higher Levels. This spell's damage increases by 1d12 at 5th level (3d12), 11th level (4d12), and 17th level (5d12).
