This spell is intended for use in a modern/sci-fi campaign.
Control Electricity
Transmutation cantrip
Casting time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Components: S
Duration: 1 Minute

You take a portion of static charge and manipulate it in one of the following ways:

  • You can create a harmless sensory effect using electricity, such as shocking someone, causing your hair to stand on end, or making a crackling sound.
  • You can power simple electrical devices. This effect lasts for as long as you are in contact with the device.
  • You can cause electricity to flow too fast into a machine or not at all. Choose a Large or smaller machine within range, causing it to short-circuit or lose power, disabling it for 1 minute.

If you cast this spell multiple times, you can have no more than two of its non-instantaneous effects active at a time, and you can dismiss such an effect as an action.
