A business scrub is a variety of deku scrub who runs a makeshift business out of the deku flower in which it lives. As is deku scrub instinct, it reflexively attacks any who would approach it with a seed shot attack. This is usually unintentional, as the business scrub doesn't want to scare away customers, but the creature has difficulty overcoming its highly defensive and paranoid instincts.

Because of its often remote location, a business scrubs can often sell wares at hiked prices to adventurers or wanderers who are far from proper markets but in need of supplies.

Of course, some business scrubs—especially those who live in busy settlements—have learned to overcome their seed-spitting habits to become savvy businessmen.
