Tsurushi Hachiya[edit]
Medium humanoid (Hachiya), any alignment Armor Class 15 (Natural Armor)
Saving Throws Dex +5, Int +4 Chakra. Tsurushi has 8 chakra points which he can expend. All chakra points are regained at the end of a long rest. ACTIONSUnarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (2d4 + 3) bludgeoning damage. Shuriken (0-3 Chakra). Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 20/60 ft., one target. Each additional shuriken deals 2 (1d3 + 1) piercing damage on a hit. Basic Ninjutsu Technique (1 Chakra). As a bonus action, Kakashi can move across liquid surfaces as if they were solid. If he is submerged, he rises to the surface of the liquid at a rate of 60 feet per round. Transformation (1+ Chakra). Tsurushi becomes identical to a person, creature or non-magical object they have a complete visual image of. This can not be a light source, armor, tool, or vehicle and, and they can not recreate a magical effect. Creatures must make a DC 12 Investigation check realize that they are transformed. If the creature saw them performing the Jutsu, they automatically succeed. This does not change statistics, save for granting the creature's swimming and flying speeds. Body Flicker (3 Chakra). Tsurushi's movement speed doubles, and their movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity. Crimson Mist Barrier (4 Chakra). Tsurushi creates a 40 ft. radius cloud of mist around him. For any creature that doesn't have levels in the Path of the Assassin, this area is considered heavily obscured beyond 5 ft. Water Characters (2-4 Chakra). Tsurushi creates a five foot square of words in water on one surface he can touch that lasts up to 1 hour (concentration). If Tsurushi is touching a liquid, the text takes on the color of the liquid, otherwise he must spend 4 additional chakra and it takes on a vibrant blue hue. Tsurushi may move this text up to 1000 feet as a bonus action up to 5 miles away from him, and it can only move along surfaces. REACTIONSSubstitution (3+ Chakra). When Tsurushi is hit by an attack and would take damage, they decrease the damage by 9 (1d10 + 4) and teleport up to 15 ft. in any direction to an unoccupied space, during which they take the Hide action. A generic object is left in their place and they take any remaining damage from that attack. Tsurushi can add reduce this damage by an additional 5 (1d10) points per chakra point spent over the initial cost. |
A genin of the New Era's Hidden Mist, Tsurushi was one of Kagura's few friends, being able to look past his "blood rages" to see a respectable shinobi worth trying to be an equal to. After graduation, he learned of the bygone era of the Bloody Mist, and became fascinated by the individual strength and national integrity it brought, becoming a delinquent and dissident of Chojuro's rule, particularly in opening his borders to tourists. Picking a fight with one tourist group from the Leaf, he picked out Boruto as a prime target, hoping to achieve some fame for himself, and poor diplomacy for the village, though ultimately his attack would be thwarted before it could truly begin by Iwabee and Kagura. Reporting back to Shizuma, his boss was disappointed that the attack was a failure, ordering that they kidnap Denki that night. Luring out Boruto and Kagura, Tsurushi attempted to cast doubt between the two shinobi, revealing Kagura's history, though Boruto cared little and forced he and his gang to retreat again. Tired of his subordinate's incompetence, Shizuma savagely beat Tsurushi before disowning him from his future nation. Luckily, Sarada happened upon his unconcious body, tending to his wounds. Revealing everything he was a part of, he pointed the Leaf shinobi in the direction of Shizuma's next attack. Following their successful defeat, with Chojuro's help, Tsurushi helped return Boruto, Sarada, and Iwabee back to their hotel before curfew. |
